Met by a quiet man that had no customer service skills. We asked where to park and he sarcastically said the carpark (which isn't signposted). Room had strong paint fumes. 1 towel to share between 2 and no hand/hair towels. Would have asked for another towel but the man wasn't very approachable. Breakfast was only £3 and it showed. Wish...

On arrival was met by a quiet gentleman who booked us in and kindly showed us to our room.Stayed here for two nights with my daughter and her friend so they could go to the leeds festival......Great wee find, not luxurious, but a clean large room with a double bed and two singles was exactly what we needed.I found the room to...

My daughter and I stayed here at the weekend and we had no complaints. We were taken to our room which was on the top floor, the owner was nice and helpful and carried our suitcase. The room was a decent size with a large shower room/toilet, it was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and tv. Decor is...

Very basic hotel but fairly cheap. Only has a few dedicated parking spaces. One of the sheets in the room had a stain on it however, so wouldn't stay here again. Location not too bad, next to busy road but fairly near the centre.

We stayed last night when visiting a near by nightclub. It was basic but clean, friendly and comfortable. It was a fifteen minute walk to town and only 5 mins from Beaverworks and it was easy to find. Not many parking spaces but that was only negative. We will definitely visit again.

A comfortable room with satisfactory en-suite facilities for an excellent price. Fair breakfast offering. Brookfield 'does what it says on the tin'. Being close to the city-centre, inevitably it's near a main road, so traffic noise is unavoidable - it must be well insulated though; the noise, when I visited, was a low-level hum.

Myself and my partner stayed here last weekend (Valentine's weekend) and I couldn't fault the hotel at all for the price we paid. It was booked last minute on a popular weekend yet we still only paid £59. The hotel was only a 15 minute from the train station and is only really one straight road, it isn't hard to...

The location of this hotel is pretty desolate, a run-down part of town to the south of the city centre - admittedly not too far to walk (10 - 15 mins) - with a dual carriageway, a garage, a used car lot and a shutdown pub. The guy on reception was wearing a shellsuit and it looked like he was...

We stayed here on the basis of previous reviews, and although it's not bad, it simply is not excellent - that is misleading. The room was spacious, warm and clean. The shower was good with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable, and yes it's relatively cheap. But it is on a noisy main road, the decor is not...
