Avonlea House is a lovely B&B, we stayed in the double-room overlooking the garden (I think it's the smaller of the two double rooms), all the rooms are en-suite. There is off-road parking in front of the property, or if it's really busy, in the car park across the road. The room was spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The shower...

We had a lovely weekend at Avonlea House. Jackie and John made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and immaculate. We loved the home made biscuits in the room. Good breakfast choice and it was very well cooked and presented. I loved the home made yoghurt. Bus stop outside and it took 10 mins to get into Salisbury....

Beautiful place to stay, lovely friendly owners and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The room was very stylish and clean with nice touches like the pretty biscuits and fresh milk. Thank you Jackie and John.

My wife and I were most impressed with our stay at the Avonlea. Jackie and John were most hospitable and made us feel very welcome. The room was very large, the bed extremely comfortable and the en-suite with walk-in shower a great feature. We stayed on a very cold December weekend however the room was lovely and warm and had...

My husband and I were in town to visit family and stayed one night with Jackie and John and the Avonlea House. It was comfortable, clean and very professionally friendly. We were in the double room at the back of the house and it was large enough, had a well equipped en suit bathroom and was very quiet. We would...

Fantastic B&B, we travelled to Salisbury for my partners birthday as it has so much history. I had made contact with Jackie prior to arrival as I wondered if we would be able to check in early and leave the car there so we could go out for the day, not a problem at all. Bedroom was lovely, nice and...

Lovely couple run the place. Very comfortable room with fresh milk available for coffee and tea! Only 3 double rooms and breakfast is a shared table which encourages residents to chat. A sociable atmosphere. Delicious breakfast - make their own yoghurt. Easy to find and close to Salisbury centre and with easy access to Stonehenge.Would certainly highly recommend.

We stayed of the Avonlea guest house for two nights as a base from which to explore Salisbury. The couple who run the B&B - Jackie and John - were very welcoming and warm and run a very efficient enterprise. We stayed in room 1 which has a super king size bed which was very comfortable and well equipped and...
