Very enjoyable meal with friends. A welcome lack of piped "musak", so conversation actually possible. Good ambiance, well-cooked and presented food, but I do prefer a real plate rather than a slate. This would be my only criticism.

We came here for lunch, having read the reviews on Tripadvisor. Service was good and the food was good but not as special. as we would have expected after reading the reviews The coffee was very disappointing.

Last minute decision, but can I say a well choiced one Modern but quirky, the owners are fantastic, bar staff attentive and the extra " knowing you " goes the extra mile. Food is lush, drinks varied and loved them all. Wine very nice. Parking in Brown Street then get a Permit from Hotel is a good tip, all in...

Stayed here just one night whilst visiting Stonehenge. Such a beautiful old building. So characterful. Lovely spacious rooms with large bathroom. Good tea making facilities. Made to feel very welcome and after looking at the menu with an unusual South African flavor ate in the restaurant as well. The good stuff continued, food excellent - service etc. Breakfast the next...

Very comfortable accommodation in historic building. It is easy to see that the steps and beams are 800 years old. Excellent restaurant, good location, gracious staff. Salisbury is a gem; we preferred it to Bath, Winchester or Oxford.

Booked this restaurant from another TripAdvisor recommendation. A true family friendly restaurant which offered a kids menu, colouring and word search to keep wee ones busy before food arrived. The food, service and surroundings were all excellent, or awesome as our 8yr old said! We recommend and dine again. Enjoy!

This historic building houses a restaurant, pub and letting rooms and it is just across the road from one of the entrances to Salisbury Cathedral grounds - couldn't be better! It is also just five minutes from the main shopping centre where you can find most of the popular shops and stores. Our room was very quirky - up the...

Full of character, and a stone's throw from the cathedral? Yup, expected that. But these advantages are often combined with eccentric plumbing, mediocre food and indifferent service. NOT HERE! Refurbished bathroom with immediate hot water and a cosy twin room. I was travelling with a visiting choir singing services at the cathedral. 30 of us booked dinner and 32 turned...

Fabulous character hotel, very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant which we used both nights of our stay. Breakfast was lovely but limited, we needed to ask for fresh fruit. Great access to the cathedral, the town itself & Stonehenge. Free parking is not available but we knew this before our stay however 24hr parking at a nearby (2 min walk) public...
