We found St Ann's House to seem a bit run down compared to what the photos show. It was fine and served the purpose, but lacked in charm or any sort of special touches. We didn't find breakfast to be anything special but it was cooked nicely. Overall, it was all right. We would likely try something different next time,...

Three colleagues and I travelled down to London for a work Christmas party. I had stayed at St Ann's House before over the summer and was impressed by the host's approachability, local knowledge and cooking. Our return was no disappointment - clean (and, in my case, very large) en-suite rooms, a committed host and good value. The bed was comfortable...

We have just returned from 2 night stay with friends to visit Salisbury and it's Christmas market. We had the top 2 rooms so if you do find stairs difficult this is not the B and B to book as there is no lift. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Mike the owner greeted...

As always the hospitality and comfort at St. Ann's was first rate. I am a frequent visitor to Salisbury and St. Ann's is always home when I visit. The breakfast alone is worth the stay but the addition of some beautiful antique pieces to my favorite room was a nice touch as well. I hope to return for the Christmas...

We stayed here for three nights while enjoying the considerable charms of the Salisbury area. Our experience at this B&B was less than pleasant. Its sole advanage was a convenient location near the entrance of the Cathedral complex. We had requested that there should be the minimum number of steps to our room when we booked it some six months...

My husband and I stayed at St. Ann's for 2 nights. I have to admit when I first arrived, I was a little disappointed as it seemed a little worn. But I quickly changed my mind. Mike, the owner, could not have been nicer. We enjoyed talking with him about Salisbury and his life as a chef. The breakfast was...

We were traveling throughout the UK and stayed at St. Anns house for a week. It was such a pleasant experience. The b&b is on a quiet street a few blocks from the town center and steps away from the medieval cathedral. Michael is very knowledgable about the surrounding areas, providing us with great tips on places to eat and...

We had a great time staying with Michael and his staff. Quaint rooms in the heart of Sainsbury. Can't recommend them higher. Michael even went beyond the call and arranged for some important documents (accidentally left behind) to be expressed post to us - at no charge. Thanks Michael for looking after us. Plus Michael's a great cook with a...

OK-- so this place looks so cute online, it's even recommended in guide books! I don't understand why. My room was definitely "comfortable" but most certainly nothing special. The breakfast is just weird--- food is good, but you have seating assignments?? What??? It's weird. I felt like I was on a school vacation and pinching for every dollar by staying...

This hotel is very near the centre of Salisbury. We were very easily able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit.. I liked my room - it was comfortable and well equipped, though it wasn't special - no extra little touches. The toiletries were ordinary for instance. The breakfast was pretty good, though it is odd to...
