Stayed in the family room, large double bed and single room for son sharing bathroom. Arrived about midnight (said we would be late) and someone was still there to greet us. Nice, clean and comfortable, brew facilities with water and fresh milk in fridge. In residential area so nice and quiet, breakfast was really good and can recommend their home...

Lovely place to stay. Owner saw I would be arriving late and called me to made special arrangements for my late arrival and early breakfast. The room was welcoming with heat turned on and everything needed. Bed was comfortable and there was no noise. Breakfast was a very tasty full English. Great value, beautiful property and friendly host.

Second stay at the lovely friendly place. Although there was a mix up with the booking the lovely lady owner Arty put us in the executive family room with a fantastic bathroom. The hospitality is so great and the breakfast is perfect. Both Bob and Arty are fabulous and absolutely go out of their way to make sure everyone has...

I have booked the room last minute reading the reviews. How wrong was I? There was a burst water pipe in the middle of the night and I was told that it wasnt the lady lady's fault so I had to pay despite having been woken up with what felt like a shower on my bed. what about if electricity...

Dear Gwen Wilcox, thank you for your review as these are always appreciated but I do believe it is always necessary to be honest when reviewing. You are correct in saying there was a burst pipe but this was at the entrance of your door & not on top of your bed as you suggest. This happened according to your...

Stayed in the family room and it was comfortable enough. Friendly hosts who served up a lovely breakfast. They recommended a local pub for our evening meal (one that I had already shortlisted from TA reviews) and booked it for us and supplied a free drinks voucher too. Only downside was that I struggled to find anywhere immediately local early...

Dear RobinB1957 Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. So pleased you enjoyed the breakfast as well as the pub the night before. Apologies that the local Londis does not sell The Racing Post I have put in a request if they could in the future. Hope to see you again. Regards,

We booked this stay on the basis of previous reviews on Trip Advisor and contacting the owners at the outset. We particularly wanted a good location for the racecourse and were more than put out to find that a "five minutes walk" is indeed more like a 25-30 minute walk. There is a gate into the racecourse within about 8-10...

Dear RoamingTiger59 Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We are always open to feedback as this is how we improve. Just a few points I must clarify though. The walk to the front of the gates of the racecourse is 25 minutes but as you rightfully say the back gate is a 8 minute walk...

Had small share in horse running on the Friday. B and B was easy to find, 25 minutes walk to racecourse or £8 in taxi. Encountered nothing but friendliness from the first call to my leaving. Room was clean and ideal for what I wanted. Very good breakfast. Only disappointment, they are fully booked for Royal Ascot week but no...

My room was tiny but it was perfect. I requested a single and the bed was just wide enough to accommodate my body. The room did have a private bath and there was even a small refrigerator plus a kettle in the room. The house is very clean and it is in walking distance of Ascot (back gate).

We stayed just the one night as went to the races. Excellent location, the owners are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is lovely. Would stay again.
