We recently stayed at the Thames Riviera for a short Christmas break. We were not expecting such a wonderful atmosphere and excellent staff. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs, comfortable bed, sitting chair and table. Clean and tidy bathroom. All you need for one nights stay. We had problems with our booking confirmation and had to call the...

Stayed here one night as I was going for a meal in Bray. The hotel is located close to the centre and we had a room overlooking the river. Our room (104) was large and spacious with a big comfy bed. Bathroom is basic But adequate. We didn't eat breakfast at the restaurant (it seemed expensive at £12 each). Car...

Very smooth and efficient booking and check-in. A great location right by the bridge over the River Thames. Clean, spacious room. A very enjoyable overnight stay. Would certainly go back if visiting Maidenhead again.

Recently had lunch with a colleague. The restaurant is perfectly located and with easy access from Maidenhead. It has views across the river and plenty of car parking space. The menu is extensive but we used the daily fixed lunch menu, cost about £12.50 for two course and £15 ish for three course including coffee. The soup was good and...

I came by default - i decided to re visit, but then my visit in memory was 1994. Let's talk about good stuff - service is good; cheerful and casual, I felt comfy (not spoilt but then it's not that sort of hotel). My room in the annex (404) was pleasant (more later), car park safe and free! Bed was...

Definitely an old hotel. We stayed in their "family room" #104. Great view of the River Thames and the Maidenhead Rowing Club across the river. Room was huge for European standards. Clean bathroom (must have been recently renovated) and nice lobby and public areas. My complaint? No gym, oh well, I just took some days of of working out and...

We stayed at the Thames Riviera hotel this weekend as we were attending a party near by. We booked a premium room with river view. On check in the staff were really friendly and told us the premium rooms are the ones that had been renovated but the friendly staff is the only good thing I can say about this...

Popped in for some lunch with a friend, didn't realise we had entered a fast food restaurant. We both order the fish and chips, both of which arrived within 6 minutes of ordering. The batter was burnt on the outside, raw on the inside and the fish itself was questionable. Mushy peas on the side were covered in salt &...

Stayed for a couple of nights due to work in the area. The receptionist at the desk was friendly and check in was fairly quick. My room was comfortable and adequate for what I needed.
