We stayed for one night as we were attending a family gathering in the area. A very warm welcome and a delightful and spotlessly clean room with all the little a extras that one would expect from a quality establishment. Breakfast was excellent with lovely fresh fruit and a full English Breakfast that will certainly keep you going the whole... More

Have stayed at Sunny Cottage on a number of occasions when working in Maidenhead. Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Very welcoming host. Breakfast is absolutely amazing – the healthy continental yoghurt/fruit dish is delicious, with a variety of cooked breakfasts from which to choose. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We were visiting Windsor Castle at the start of our holiday, so needed an overnight stop in the area. This was perfect. We were a party of three so needed twin and a single room. Both were extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is incredible (especially the muesli!!). Good, quiet location yet easily accessible to the main road links.... More

Found this lovely B&B at short notice and delighted I did! Arrived late (10.30pm) due to a long journey and traffic but made to feel very welcome all the same. Lovely room - clean, airy and very well presented. Breakfast from 7am (despite my late arrival) - slightly later for a full cooked breakfast - and what a delight breakfast... More

Despite arriving 4 hours earlier than planned my wife and I were received with a very warm welcome. The spacious room was breathtaking; beauiful bed and in addtition to all the usual facilities, a vase of fresh red roses was there to greet us. The breakfast table had to be seen to be believed; bowls of fresh fruit salad, home made... More

I stayed here in total for ten nights whilst I was on a training course in Maidenhead for the first two weeks in April. Vreny was an absolute star, making you feel extremely welcome at the bed and breakfast without invading your personal space in anyway. I stayed in the single room which had a very nice feel to it... Just stayed overnight here with my husband for a family wedding at Monkey Island which is nearby. The lady owner, Vrena, could not have been more accommodating. She made us feel very welcome and comfortable considering it is her home. Lovely room, clean and quiet. The breakfast was amazing! We were absolutely spoilt for choice, everything was fresh and delicious!... More

As a woman alone on a business trip, Sunny Cottage proved a perfect and safe stay with a wonderful breakfast. Vreny gave a a lovely welcome with a refreshing pot of tea and biscuit. The room was clean with the vase of roses a lovely touch. Really felt at home and will be returning when next working in the area.

We stayed here for 1 night in dec 2014 for our reservation at Fat Duck. It costs around 6-10 pounds from both Maidenhead station and Fat Duck. We stayed at the Gold Room. Both the house and room were beautifully decorated, lovely, cosy and warmth, made you feel like home away from home. The bed was comfortable to sleep in;... More
