My wife and I stayed for five nights whilst attending Windsor Show. Location was convenient although a twenty minute walk to the show ground and the parking was secure. Gets a little noisy at weekends but the breakfast was very good freshly cooked to order every morning on the whole great value for money would definitely stay again. It's only...

We stayed here for two nights, very friendly bar staff who recommended local restaurants to us. clean comfortable room. Very convenient for town & the castle. Some of the rooms have two flights of stairs to climb, so my need to specify if u need ground floor room.Very pleased

Such great value for money! Friendly staff and very generous English breakfast included. Parking is secure and rooms are quiet (planes overhead must have a curfew?) rooms SO comfortable and cosy. The Windsor Trooper is only a short walk from "The Long Walk" in the Great Windsor Park. This is a walk that definitely must be done whilst is the...

Basic comfortable room, private bath, very convenient location (walk to all shops, restaurants, and castle), good staff, and an excellent cooked breakfast. What else is there. It was a one night stay and a great start to this trip.

Nice bathroom only downside was the shower wasn't very powerful but not a disaster, towels are also provided.Breakfast was the full English or varies off this. Will say it was very nice indeed. Expect a pub with rooms and you won't go wrong! A traditional small pub frequented by locals who like entertainment. Fully booked a week ahead i ignored the mixed reviews and crossed my fingers that it would be acceptable. Arrived during the karaoke on Friday and Tony sorted reception at the bar/kitchen. Parking on site is first come/served basis. The...

Started off with an awkward welcome. It's only a small pub with a few rooms so I would have thought they would be expecting us but seemed surprised to see us. The tv doesn't work but there is tea and coffee making facilities. The beds are clean and towels and shower gels etc have been provided. Everything is all a...

I would fully recommend this hotel/pub, the staff are all very friendly and accomodating, comfortable accommodation and good entertainment in the pub. Very clean, food good, and great location. Parking a great asset.

I didn't stay overnight so this review is aimed at the pub rather than the rooms and I'd welcome another visit on my next trip to Windsor. There was live music when I visited and this made for a better "feeling" than some of the more sterile pubs in Windsor.
