We ate on a mid week evening. Having read a number of reviews we expected the meal to be exceptional. It was no doubt 'good' but exceptional eluded it. We had main course and dessert, and I'd definitely recommend the desserts (maple syrup crepes was my choice), but the main course was 'ordinary' (beef pie) - maybe we shouldn't have...

We were staying at a B & B just down the road and asked our hosts which local pub they'd recommend for an evening meal. They suggested The Bell Inn. We arrived not really knowing what to expect. It was Saturday night in a quiet village just outside Broadway! Well the menu was varied and offered such delights as Turbot,...

We visited The Bell after walking up the Broadway Tower (which was a bit pricey at £5 each) but after the snow and mega slippery mud the Game Pie and also the Beer Battered Fish was of excellent quality and value :) the pub was very dog friendly too.

Been here a few times, to the restaurant. Attended a birthday here last night. Staff are friendly and engaging. Food came out in a timely manner considering there were so many of us. They know how to cook meat properly i.e. Not ruin it. They are really good at keeping water filled up on the table which is rare in...

The Bell is very welcoming decor light but still traditional. We ordered three full size beef dinners and an OAPs and a child's fish and chips. The meat was tender and served with a lovely selection of vegetables and beautiful Yorkshire puddings and a delicious gravy. To follow we had three different deserts all excellent but the cheese board that my...

I did not use the accommodation, but the only Trip Advisor listing I could find for The Bell was as a hotel. It deserves to also be listed as a pub and restaurant. We had lunch there with a friend and the experience was faultless. Welcoming and attentive staff (but not too overbearing). Good menu, neither too long nor too...

This is the quintessential country pub. We were made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was great. We only visited to have a meal so I can't comment on the rooms. The food was certainly up to scratch and we had a great time. We were a group of two families with three children ranging in age from 18...

Cannot praise this place enough. Sue and Louise were perfect hosts. From the minute we arrived we were made very welcome. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also very good and we could take our dog with us, he got treats for breakfast too. Altogether a lovely place to stay and we will return. Thankyou Sue and...

The decorations were fabulous and the (young) waiting staff very polite if a little 'green' in the service department. Unfortunately, that is all the positives I can feedback. 8 of us had booked, pre-ordered all courses and paid £100 deposit for a 1pm seating. We arrived in plenty of time and were served drinks. Our starters took almost 20 mins...
