Enter the Grade 2 listed property through a lovely old door into an open plan living & kitchen area. Was originally the cider press, hence the name.
The large living room has a sofa bed, flat screen tv & storage area’s.
The well equipped kitchen has a fridge with icebox, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave & ample crockery & utensils.
The double bedroom has a dresser & wardrobe complete with hangers. The bed is comfortable but was too soft for us, but that is personal preference.
The shower has decent water pressure & has shampoo & shower gel dispensers.
There is another wardrobe with hangers in the small hallway.
Small patio area at rear of property complete with bbq.
Ample car parking.
The Cider Press adjoins the Farmyard Cottage & the owners property. Ruth is a lovely, friendly hostess.
There are substantial grounds complete with pond, man made waterfall & common seating areas.
The Cider Press is dog friendly but unfortunately at the last minute, we couldn’t bring our dog & Ruth very kindly refunded the dog fee.
Covid-19 rules are applied including track & trace form, social distancing etc.
Recommended.

It’s a few years since we stayed here but standards have certainly not slipped in the interim period. Ruth and Luke were perfect hosts and it felt as though we were staying with old friends. Upon arrival we enjoyed tea and home made cake in the delightful garden which is well appointed with many chairs and tables for the guests. We then settled in to our lovely comfortable room. All precautions had been taken with regard to Covid and we felt totally safe and well protected. A delicious breakfast was served in the spacious dining room and each day Ruth would place all prepared items on a table for us to collect, thus maintaining social distance.
We will certainly return here again.

Just completed our 3rd stay at this amazing converted privately owned farmhouse.
Bed & Breakfast is in the main house where you will be met on arrival with Tea,Warm Scones with jam and cream or if you are self catering in the lovely cottage which is attached you will find a large home baked loaf, jam and a fresh bottle of milk.
The garden is amazing and we have been very lucky with the weather as we have been able to do some sunbathing in the gardens.
Lovely hosts Ruth and Luke
The accommodation is rural but very close to all the lovely sights and places to visit
Can't wait to return

Stayed here with my husband, our two little girls and our dog. We booked at short notice and they were still really accommodating. Hosts were really nice, the cottage and gardens were lovely and we had a really great time. They provided a travel cot and high chair which made life much easier as we have an 11 month old. There was also fresh bread, butter and jam on arrival which we thought was really nice considering we booked so last minute.

A great room with welcoming hosts - just a great weekend away!

The location is fantastic for access to the North Hill of the Malverns. The owners were very accommodating with our little dog, and there was a wonderful garden for him (and us!) to enjoy when we got back from our walk. We were well supplied with tea and coffee and the inglenook fireplace was very welcome as well.

We stayed at the Cider Press for a long weekend in February. It's simply gorgeous, wonderfully cosy and warm. We loved having breakfasts (enjoying the freshly baked bread that Ruth provided us with) while watching nuthatches feeding in the garden! The cottage is located perfectly - just cross the road and you're hiking up the Malvern Hills! And yet, you can just walk into town for a pint at a cosy pub! The garden is large and beautiful, making the place perfectly dog friendly. Ruth is a very kind host who also gives you all the space you need to enjoy your stay. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

We stayed at Farmhouse Cottage for a 3 night half-term mini break with our 2 daughters. Ruth was very efficient at arranging everything and responding to any queries we had which gave us a good feel before we even got there. The cottage itself is spacious and welcoming. Log burner set in the deep hearth is lovely in the evenings (free wood provided!). Very nice and characterful throughout but with all the modern conveniences.
The cottage is in a lovely setting with wonderful views across the valleys and distant hills. On the other side of the property the main hills of The Malverns rise up almost directly from the house. It's quite easy to do a lovely circular walk taking in the highest ones straight from the front door. It's also possible to walk into town (around a mile to the main cafes / restaurants etc) or a v short drive.

In terms of food we used 'FAUN' cafe a couple of times, not cheap but very very good cakes and light lunches (and coffee of course!), as well as 'Bar Limon' tapas bar - where we enjoyed an excellent assortment of dishes on one of the evenings. Both (but Bar Limon especially) were also very good with respect to their gluten free offerings / adaptations as I am coeliac.

A second return, to this charming place - now with extensive gardens to enjoy. The hosts have made it a home away from home for guests. Perfect for walking with a dog - being able to step directly onto the northern Malvern Hill.
The Cider Press has everything you could wish for to make a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is a real treat to visit and stay here. Thank you Ruth and Luke and Libby!

This was our second stay at Cowleigh Park Farm this year! We had such a lovely time with friends there earlier this year, we were keen to visit again with more friends who are keen walkers. As before, the welcome was warm - this time it felt like greeting friends - the tea and cakes on arrival and warm scones after the walk on the second day were much appreciated and delicious. The walk from the house along the Malverns to British Camp and back was very enjoyable and easily done to get you back in time for a good rest before an evening meal. An oasis of peace and calm in a really beautiful historical home.

The Cider Press is a great place to stay for exploring Malvern, in every respect. It is perfectly situated to the north of the town and you can walk straight out into the hills. The views are great, the garden is beautiful and there is a lovely sitting area immediately outside, for a sunny breakfast, The Cider Press is warm and spacious, has a very peaceful feel and is full of character - beams etc. We slept really well. Ruth was very welcoming and gave us a loaf of freshly baked bread on arrival, but was not in any way intrusive. A really special place to stay.
