We have just come back from a short break at No. 44 and I don't think I've ever felt so welcome in a B&B. Nothing was too much trouble, despite our kids sounding like a herd of elephants and all of us trying our best not to traipse mud all over the place (and failing)!
Lovely breakfasts made fresh, fresh pastries in the rooms every day and beautiful, clean rooms.
The location is perfect for walking the hills too.
I would definitely recommend staying here!

Having enjoyed a nice short break at Malvern, I felt compelled to create this review.

The B&B was excellent. A fully self-contained ground floor flat with large bedroom, large living room with doors onto the enclosed garden, shower/bathroom, small kitchen with fridge, microwave and hob, plus a dining area. Could easily support a full self-catering stay. Free Wi-Fi too.

Our large dog was made most welcome, even in the main house for the good cooked breakfast.

Liza was certainly a genial hostess, even providing a full sized cake waiting for us on arrival. She knows the area well and was more than happy to pass on that knowledge.

The location was perfect, 5 mins walk up to the North Quarry entrance to the Malvern Hills, 5 mins walk down to the Nags Head Inn – dog friendly gastropub, great food. 15 mins walk into Malvern town.

Would highly recommend, whether or not wanting a dog friendly place.

WE stayed her several times over the paast 3 years when visiting our daughter who was studying at elim conference centre on malvern hills. this was and excellent location and within 250 yards to access to hills for walking our dogs. we stayed in the self contained flat downstairs (this was superb) and our son stayed in the main house (he used the connecting door which was very handy).
the self contained flat had a living room and separate dining area, shower room, tv and a double room, we were left a cooked breakfast in the fridge (at our choosing) and liza the owner offered for us to have breakfast in the main house, but we chose to have breakfast in flat to avoid holding anyone back. the bread and cake was a lovely unexpected surprise. liza was very accommodating phoning us to check our arrival time and waiting in for us and we were allowed a late check out as no one was using the flat the day we left.
we have great memories and can't praise the accommodation and liza enough we always had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend using this accommodation.
our dogs enjoyed the accommodation and enjoyed looking out the large glass doors to the garden. The main house was lovely. malvern is lovely and for some reason we always had amazing weather
thanks again liza if we are ever in the area we would't stay anywhere else keep doing what your doing the service is fantastic

It's rare that you meet B&B owners that are as delightful as Liza and Mark. From arranging our stay to having to leave somewhat reluctantly nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we had known both of them for years. We stayed in the apartment and wanted for nothing, you could very easily stay there for months on end. We would not hesitate to stay there again and encourage anyone thinking of visiting Malvern to do the same. The breakfast was easily the best I have eaten in a long time.
Please visit you will not be disappointed.

I stopped here overnight when cycling from Land's End to John o' Groats, and was instantly made to feel at home. Lisa was very happy to accommodate my bike and all my stuff. The room was beautiful and very comfortable; breakfast was delicious. I have nothing bad to say about No. 44 at all. A great place to stay, and worth cycling to the top of the hill to get there.

Liza, met us at the front gate when we arrived, and thereafter she was always available when we wanted advice. Good ideas for what we should do and where to eat. Dog was made especially welcome, if he is happy, I am happy. We came home with apples from the tree and some plants from the garden. On arrival, thoughtful touch, cup cakes and carrot cake for us.

We were introduced to Liza by another local B&B that had double booked my colleague and I. The booking was made over the phone. On arrival we were greeted personally by Liza and shown to our rooms. Nicely furnished with spectacular views of the Malvern Hills. Comfortable bed and sofa, mini fridge and coffee making facility. The bathroom between our two rooms was equipped with a bath with shower over and was very clean and well maintained. In the evening we were recommended to try The Nags Head a short downhill walk from number 44 and it did not disappoint. Liza' breakfast was wholesome and beautifully prepared with yogurt and fresh fruit, a full English with toast and coffee. We will certainly return and definitely recommend Liza Hughes at No 44.

When I first stayed at this wonderful B&B I was on my own, but this time I brought my wife. It's a lovely self contained ground floor flat with a large double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room which looks out on to your own private garden. It's very peaceful. Our landlady provides a full English breakfast in her own kitchen upstairs, but on this occasion she left a continental breakfast in the kitchen with fresh fruit, bread, croissant and pain au chocolate. On street parking is convenient and safe. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay at a very reasonable price! We'll be back.

Hi Linda I'm so sorry - I've only just seen your message. Unfortunately I am booked up on the 1st July, but you can find my website if you put in 44 cowleigh road bed and breakfast. I have a self-contained flat for rental (on a nightly basis or weekly) and two large double rooms that share a private bathroom these are on the second floor of the house which you would have to yourselves. I charge £78 a night for the flat (which also has a sofa bed) and £40 for single occupancy of each double room and both prices include breakfast. Hopefully you'll try again, and I'm really sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Best wishes Liza
