I stayed at De Bury House with my husband and our two friends. John and Diane were very welcoming and ensured we had good parking spaces across the road. Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail in the bedroom was gorgeous, it was very well equipped and we felt at home straight away. The location is...

We arrived very late a night on our way to a horse show at Three Counties showground and John very kindly stayed up to welcome us and show us to a spotless room up in the rafters of the house. We stayed for two nights and the room was comfortable and well equipped. Our room was not en-suite but there...

I only met John on my last day but he was certainly equal to his wife Diane, who provided me with the cleanest room with crisp white bedding and an immaculate bathroom. My room was extremely quiet (as was even the breakfast room) and the bed very comfortable after all the walking I was doing while visiting my daughter who's...

My wife and I had a very enjoyable 3-night stay last August. Diane and John were very pleasant and helpful and made us feel fully at home. Our room (the back-facing room) was pleasant, spacious and well-appointed. Breakfasts were A1. The location is good: a short, pleasant stroll to the Cricket Ground or across the river into town. Parking near...

Great place to stay. John was brilliant, even met us outside and helped park our rather long trailer.Diane was fantastic and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent, as was the room. Particularly loved the sheets.

Atmosphere first of all. You feel supported. Then Perfect - all - and super mattress!! Diane herself is full of knowledge about the city, about politics and good stories that made us feel home and safe - and she is humorous. We felt it was lots of value for the money, and our daughter that lives in the city with...

A fabulous experience, Diane could have done no more to make us feel welcome. Fantastic breakfast, rooms perfect with no noise, lovely decor, spotlessly clean, and could not get a better location. Shower gel, cotton buds, shampoo all provided. Will definitely stay here again next time and would recommend to anyone.

I don't wish to repeat what Mikael W and JoannePL68 have said, among many others. I agree that there were no negatives. I regret that I did not get to meet John but certainly enjoyed talking to Diane. For me, it was especially the strong sense of welcoming and overall generosity of the whole place. I have been to so...

The B&B is owned by a lovely couple, Diane and John. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom felt modern and was very clean as well. The room had TV, tea/coffe, iron/ironing board and soap/shampoo. The B&B consists of three rooms and Diane and John's apartment plus a dining area. Because of this, the place...
