Booked this bed and breakfast after reading all the great reviews, when I got there I was greeted by one of the owners with a smile and a friendly invite. The room was clean, warm and comfortable and had a large bathroom. The breakfast was lovely and the best thing was that it was all locally sourced products.

Nice rooms, good breakfast, lovely hosts. Location only a mile from the city, so no taxi required, just a stroll down the hill. Breakfast room was very beautiful. Overall for the price, there was nothing to grumble about.

Out room was small but comfortable. The bathroom shower was particularly nice. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our well-cooked breakfast, as well. Parking is a problem - had to park quite a distance from the property over night.

Good ameneties in the room included various teas and coffee. Breakfast was delicious, however all the sauces were out of date. Room was quiet and comfortable. TV slightly small but great considering the price. Lovely shower. Black out blinds.

Like the ad that says "it does exactly what it says on the tin", Holland House B&B provided everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay, and met or exceeded expectations. The room was lovely and warm in spite of freezing weather. Mark was helpful and welcoming but unobtrusive; I saw myself out in the morning. In fact door codes and...

I was welcomed warmly as I arrived and then shown to my room. All of the amenities were shown to me and I settled into my room. My room was on the first floor at the back of the property. It was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. The mattress is on the firm...

I stayed one night. I was made to feel very welcome in the hosts home. The room I stayed in was warm and clean. The TV was only working intermittently which I was told was being looked at the following day by an engineer. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable I had a dreadful nights sleep. I appreciate a...

We were made very welcome even though we were only staying one night. A very good warm atmosphere. The room had everything we required and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. There was even a bath too.

We had a very friendly reception from the landlord. The room was small but adequate and away from the main road and very quiet. Parking could be difficult but as we arrived early, we easily found a space nearby. Excellent breakfast. Easy Walking to centre.

We stayed here for almost a week and loved the warm welcome we received and the great service. Although we did not get a chance to have the breakfast, it is offered and has a great selection. The rooms are not large but suited our purpose and were clean and presentable. They say no parking but we were able to...
