Don't get me wrong the views were amazing and the travel cot was immaculate. I had a phone call to say they had over booked paid 55 pound for a family room and had to be put In a double with a travel cot don't kind much but my son ended up in our bed as the travel cot was... More

We had a lovely stay in this guest house, the staff were really friendly and the rooms were clean and airy We had an amazing view of the sea and the promenade, which was a beautiful sight to wake up to. I don't really have any real complaints, the beds were a little uncomfortable but that's generally a personal preference... More

We've been to the Cardigan Bay Guest House twice this year and both times we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was spotless, breakfast was superb and the staff couldn't do enough for us - very friendly and extremely helpful. We've visited many towns and cities all over Europe and Aberystwyth is definitely one of the most friendly. Looking forward to... More

I think I gasped in appreciation when we walked into our room. Ceiling to floor bay windows. Sea, beach, promenade below. Genuinely wow. I can't remember the room number, which is a shame as I would definitely stay there again. Anyway, the lovely manager Marlena said it was her favourite but perhaps she says that about every room. Ours was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and even though the room are pretty basic everything is extremely clean and it served our needs. Breakfast was fine with a wide selection of different things. The view is spectacular and the staff is very helpful and friendly especially Marlena. I would definitely go back and recommend it!

Room 1 is sold as a double room, it has a king sized bed but the room is less than 7ft wide so there is only 18" or so down the side of the bed. The cupboard door does not open fully and behind a panel inside there is a really noisy boiler. We had very little sleep because of... More

Rooms are pretty basic but comfortable and very clean. I got to stay in a few of them after having to extend my stay because of injury and honestly, they were all just fine. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread with smoked fish and meats, cheeses, breads and cereals and delicious coffee. What really earned the rating though was Julian... More

Stayed here overnight on 18th October - midweek. On the 2nd floor - no lifts, but was not a problem for me. Staff friendly & welcoming. Room basic, but clean and generally comfortable. Ensuring with shower was a bonus. Didn't pay a lot for the room and so no complaints from us. Didn't have breakfast at hotel - only basic... More

We were booked into a b & b owned by Julian in Lanbadarn but he changed our venue ("Overbooked - computer error") the day before to Cardigan Bay Guest House. Welcomed by lovely manageress, shown small room (she apologised !). Oversized bed meant 'wardrobe' door barely opened - had to stand sideways between bed and wall. Cupboard was hot; (?... More
