Our first hotel on our Wales trip ruined us for the rest of the week! Here are some of the perfect things: • Service; check-in to check-out and everything in-between. Staff were present whenever you needed them and were friendly and helpful. • Location; right on the beach and convenient to shops, restaurants, attractions, and transportation. We arrived via train and left via bus (with 40# bags). We chose a beach view room and could watch the daily starling “clouds” from our room. We also saw 6 rainbows over the bay our first drizzly morning. We fell asleep each night to the sound of waves on the beach. • Design; the pictures on their website didn’t do our room justice. The design of each room is based on a color with tile, bedding, furnishings all coordinated. Obviously custom-made furnishings feature inlaid slate which was even repeated in the roman shades in our room (which didn’t have actual slate, but a dark stripe down the side). The bathroom featured several tiled cubbies where we could put our toiletries. One of the larger ones was backed with a mirror so my husband and I could both get ready in the morning without hogging the bathroom mirror. The outlet in the bathroom was a universal accommodating both UK and EU types of plugs. • Maintenance; every bead of caulk and strip of grout was PERFECT as if the room has just been remodeled. There was not a spot of dust anywhere in the room. Breakfast comes with your stay. There is a small menu (including a delicious Welsh rarebit), but guests can also order any standard breakfast item (if you want just a single poached egg rather than a full Welsh breakfast the staff were very accommodating). We had a great dinner one night also – book early! The restaurant and its bar are open to the public. Both are small, but had well-spaced seating.
Great welcome. Beautiful room as clean as whistle. Very good quality finish. And a view of the sea! Room 4 has amazing views. Open your window and you'll hear the sea it rushing over the pebbles - magical.
Breakfast was amazing and if you stay you must have dinner (see my other review).
Only regret was we were only staying one night. Next time a long lazy weekend.
We stopped for a couple of days. We arrived early but the staff were welcoming and the room was ready we had room 6 what a lovely room overlooking the sea you could sit by the window watching the world go by. The room was spacious. You could even have a bath and look out over the sea. We ate in the restaurant for the first night what a lovely meal. This is a lovely hotel and would recommend. It isn't the cheapest but well worth treating yourself for a couple of days and if you have a room overlooking the sea you won't be disappointed.
Room 4 is a lovely, spacious bedroom with a luxurious bathroom all facing the seafront. The accommodation is if a high standard and the staff are delightful- Shona a real treasure! The wi-fi connection is weak. The hotel restaurant offers a good standard of food and the breakfasts are quiet varied and well done.
Only stayed one night but really lovely room, bathroom, sea view and food. Steep stairs to room but warned before arrival so no surprise. Only downside was parking which was tricky but at least promenade nice and flat so lengthy walk and good weather made it ok. Staff excellent, morning waitress even wrote us a list of the best beaches to visit in the area.

Well that is a difficult one. First of all find the hotel and do a bag drop. The road outside the hotel has a yellow line (no parking) so there is always a place to stop and unload I'm sure you will be fine to do this as I think you get 5 mins on a yellow line for unloading.
To the left of the pier (left as you look out to sea) there are no restrictions to how long you can park along the stretch of road in front of the old university building and the castle ruin ( about a mile stretch of road) but everyone else will be trying there too so it might be full. We managed to get about the last space going right at the end of this stretch of road, it was a 20 min walk back! BUT the hotel is worth the walk. There must be car parks somewhere in town but as we got a space on the road we didn't need to find a car park. The hotel will know where these are. Might be best to give them a call and find out where they are before you get there.....they really should advise people before thy go.
...we have a guest house in Llandudno and send our guests a parking map before they arrive and tell them about our bag drop service...😀😀
If you are visiting Llandudno too on your trip do look us up.. The View Guest House😊
