We booked to stay at abbeyfield, we arrived and were welcomed very warmly. The rooms are well appointed and the rates are very reasonable. The food tonight was superb I had the steak and ale pie which was fantadtic quality taste and value. If you are in the bangor area then book a night at the abbeyfield, or if you...

Very unsatisfying stay, will not be returning and instead booked elsewhere for my next trip to Bangor! The rooms are very dated, very small, with an ancient 14" CRT TV and temperamental freeview box. The room looked cheap with cheap poorly maintained furniture. There was no desk provided, which was difficult as i needed to do work. The food at...

Stopped here on way to early ferry. Got in fairly late to a very friendly greeting. They had stopped serving food but russled me up a good bacon sandwich and chips at a very reasonable price. Place is a bit dated but the room was clean and tidy with all the facilities and thats what I wanted. Easy to find...

Visited the Abbeyfield on a sightseeing trip. Checked in easily. Very disappointed with the rooms, they are in desperate need of renovation Mould around the windows, wood chip wallpaper, loose wall shelf, curtains to short, mould in the shower etc etc BUT it was clean. Just needs some TLC. More worthy of £50 per night. We paid the same price...

I stopped here whilst working in North wales. The hotel is a little dated, but the room was clean, large and had everything I needed. My room was very close to the railway line and the trains passing was very obvious. That said they stopped around 11, they did start fairly early, but as I had to be up early...

Let me off by saying that the Abbeyfield is not a five star boutique hotel with all the amenities. However what it is, is a fit for purpose place to in North Wales. The rooms are dated, but clean. The hotel is next to a railway line, I live next to a rail line myself so it wasn't much of...

Abbeyfield Hotel is a good overnight stop. The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, evening meal was ok. Rooms and corridors need a lick of paint. You can hear the railway but it is not too obtrusive. I'd stay again.
