Sandy and I had travelled up from LLandudno, Bangor was on our list, this inn was open and the landlady was really friendly, chef had just left but she obliged with some very tasty baguettes and trimmings, excellent place so close to the Pier makes it a pub worth visiting...could not have been friendlier place...really welcoming place to eat and...

I really didn't want to go to this place after a bad experience last time. I didn't have a choice as friends had booked and invited us when they knew we were visiting the area again It has new owners and obviously a new chef. The home made food was great. Well cooked, well presented and absolutely delicious. highly recommend...

We are a Christian, a Catholic and a Muslim just popping in before our restaurant booking around the corner. Very disappointed and shocked to see this on the door. Obviously we were not welcome so they lost our business that day. Integration is key to irradicating ignorance and prejudice.

My graduation was coming up on the 11th July 2016, so I decided to book a table at the Boatyard where my family, boyfriend and myself really enjoy going and never had a bad experience there. I booked the table with ease and was really excited to go and have a meal to celebrate such a special occasion. We arrived...

Ate here a couple of years ago and it had a much larger menu selection than this time around, I also think it may have changed hands or new management, the land lady hovering around rubbing shoulders with locals in bar area but not in the least bit interested in other diners of which we were two of around possibly...

I was in Bangor with a work colleague before going on to Holyhead ferry when my colleague and I came across this lovely clean and friendly hostelry. The staff were very friendly and keen to look after two weary travellers. We chose the steak & onion baguette which definitely hit the mark. Scrumptious and very filling. I will be back!!

Visited at lunchtime and had a mussel starter, they were fresh from the Menai straits the previous day and were the best I'd tasted in years. Simple white wine sauce, amazing. Manageress very friendly, been there since January so the place has been spruced up. Small selection of good local ales on tap. Good value for money.

Just back from visiting Bangor and were looking for somewhere for Sunday carvery. What a find! Good quality meats, well cooked and nice selection of veg. Huge Yorkshire puddings and really tasty gravy. Lovely, warm, friendly staff and a really sensibly priced meal. Hugely recommend.

Our Sunday Carvery is very popular. We sourced all our produce from local suppliers and I'm glad you enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere at our establishment. Thank you for your kind review. Kayley
