I would thoroughly recommend The Guest House to anyone making a trip to Abergavenny. If you travel as part of your job (like me) and are tired of boring, bland hotels, this is the place for you. Jenny, Kevin and Sandy make you feel very welcome and it really is a home from home. If you are a cat lover... More

An unexpected treat, a short stay at the Guest House. A warm welcome, great facilities, a comfortable night. Reasonable rates... no cards, but thats fair enough. The breakfast was it for a Prince of Wales.... homemade friut jelly, good tea, herby scrambled egg with generous scrambled egg and a lemon slice... followed by homemade toasted bread with sumer-in-a-jar raspberry jam... We recently stayed at The Guest House for a wedding nearby and had a wonderful 3 day stay. The breakfasts were excellent, the hosts were great fun and the animals and birds were an added treat. In particular the ducks provided great eggs for breakfast while the parrots provided the entertainment. We would recommend this without hesitation. Mick and Sheila... More

This time I feel it is my duty to write a review on what is not only a fantastic guest house but also a Welsh experience. The hosts Kevin & Jenny have made some great improvements on what was already... More

I've been visiting Jenny's for about 7 years now. I thought it about time I wrote a review! I visit Wales once every 4 weeks for walking ventures with friends, whenever the destination is South Wales Jenny's is the place we stay. There isn't anything to dislike about this place. Jenny and Kevin have always been very welcoming and we... More

Hilarious place to stay in a very good way. Jenny is amazing - her stories had us in stitches and her breakfasts are divine. Room was very clean and compact. Probably the only thing that might cause a problem is the parking. The driveway is extremely narrow and the fellow before us scraped his car getting in. As is usually... More
