This is a B&B you'll never forget and always want to come back if you like real people and appreciate they give their home and heart to you stranger. Trying the fruit jelly, special omlettes is a must along with the wide range of usual brekies. The rooms are tastefully designed and equipped to the highest standards. This is my...

Over the week end of July 9th & 10th 2011 was Abergavenny's festival of cycling. Due to not living local and travelling up from the Isle of Wight some research was conducted on a suitable local B&B and The Guest House came out on top ticking all the boxes. In a nutshell the stay was flawless. Jenny , Kev &...

I booked the guest house Abergavenny as a base for myself and a mate who were taking part in the Tour Of The Black Mountains cycling event 10th July. Couldn't have asked for a better location within a stones throw of start point and the town. Secure parking to keep bikes safe at rear of premises. Jenny and Kevin are...

The Guest House is a traditional B&B complete with floral carpets, loads of ornaments and a slightly eccentric owner (Jenny). The room was clean and comfortable though a little on the small size and it overlooked the rear yard with its lively collection of chickens and other birds, dogs and cats. We were slightly disconcerted by the caged parrots in...

Wonderful couple run the place. They'll set you up with everything you need to know to have a great time in the area as well as letting you know all about about their considerable family of pets. Good food, good rooms, nice town. Had a great time!

Searching for a reasonably priced B&B for a walking holiday in the Brecon Beaons, I came across The Guest House as the number one rated B&B in Abergavenny on Tripadvisor. I was struck by all the guests' comments that they had been made to feel so welcome and the warmth of Jenny and Kevin made the guesthouse feel like a...

We stay here every time we're in Abergavenny. I've been meaning to write a glowing review for them for some time. Most BnBs follow a very standard formula but The Guest House goes out of its way to serve really delicious food (and an amazing vegetarian fritatta for my husband and I, who don't eat meat), always with extra special...

Great place to stay, really accomodating and a very friendly atmosphere. Jenny goes out of her way to make sure guests are happy (even giving me some salad for breakfast with the salmon and eggs!) I hope to be back next time I'm in Abergavenny.
