Hostel much improved since my last stay some 7 or 8 years ago. Very satisfactory in every way. Reduced rate also much appreciated It was nice to see quite a few families with children. Maybe a lot more advertising should be concentrated in that area. That is where the future of the YHA lies.

We booked the hostel for a big birthday party. Self catered first night YHA catered second night. Great food, perfect location helpful staff and an ideal venue for a big party. Planning to do it all again next year.

The night we spent here there was snow, hail, wind and rain outside - but lovely and warm inside the hostel. Perfect place to stay to have a look round Conwy Castle and the town. The breakfast was all you would expect from a Youth Hostel too, well cooked and plenty of it.

This is our hotel of choice when collecting / delivering our son to boarding school. The staff are exceedingly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are of a good standard and the option to dine in very welcome on occasion - but the self-catering kitchen is of good enough standard that we often fend for ourselves. The location is splendid...

It was wonderful to see the hostel being used by lots of different groups and individuals - architecture degree students, scouts, children with learning difficulties, people who travel for work, and explorers like me from all over the world. The staff were immediately in tune with the needs and preferences of their guests and I felt encouraged, not laughed at,...

We have been here before and had a good experience, and this was more of the same. After a warm welcome we found the rooms clean, well fitted out (for a YHA property) and warm. The evening dinner was good and the local beers even better, all served by friendly staff. Well recommended for a cost effective way to see...

Great hostel ..... neat, clean, purpose built. Offers evening meals, breakfasts and a bar. Warm, clean and fantastic location. The town is World Heritage listed and rightly so ...... incredible ! Walled town, can walk the walls. Smallest house in UK, castle, quaint town, beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

A comfortable friendly modern hostel in garden grounds within walking distance above the lovely town of Conwy with it's majestic castle and traditional shops.
