I can recommend everything in Bryn Howel. We ate in the bar, but was given the same attention as if we had eaten in the Restaurant. The staff very attentive, the food was excellent, We relaxed for well over an hour with our food and a drink after a long walk along the canal. thank you. r g

Visited last weekend, 3 nights, Friday-Monday, bed and breakfast Arrived about 6pm, and found the receptionist most pleasant and helpful. We had spoken to them about cycle storage before we booked. They told us we could bring our bikes inside one of the rooms off the reception. If we did come back muddy, we could use the stable. A second...

Lovely Hotel, friendly staff, yummy breakfast. The views are amazing and the walks around the area are very good. The train in Llangollen is only just down the road and the village of Llangollen is beautiful. Well worth staying there.

Stayed at the Bryn Howel for a weekend break with family, it potentially could be a very good place but generally looks tired and needs some investment, with this in mind though £98.00 for two nights it was good value for money if you are looking after your hard earned cash. One thing I really didn't expect in the hotel...

Soooo... we've just got back from an overnight stay at the Bryn Howel. Before going we were a little concerned (and confused) by the seemingly endless procession of one star and five star ratings. Is it the same hotel being described? Well, we think we've discovered the reason... But first - overall we LOVED this hotel and will be heading...

We booked one night B&B at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Could do with a little updating in bedroom facilities. The setting is fabulous, surrounded by trees and hills, with the Llangollen canal running through the grounds.

Visited here with my partner for just the one night, Thankfully that's all it was. Our room was pretty cold with really cold wind coming through the windows, The furniture and tv are going back 30 years or so, we went out for the evening but came back at around 9pm to a very dark and locked up hotel. Had...
