A quiet weekend break to visit the Llangollen ComicCon event. Loved the hotel, quaint and well-situated right in the middle of everything. We paid a little extra for a first floor suite, overlooking the river. Lovely views of the fast-flowing Dee. Nice inclusive breakfast in...More
Recently stayed for another 3 nights. A great hotel, very charming and old fashioned but I like that although it could really do with a refresh. Had a nice riverside room with a nice big bath in the bathroom, copious amounts of hot water on...More
Ok ----let me set the record straight . We stayed in room 105 which is a light , airy and spacious room overlooking the town centre . As we were staying in a town centre hotel we did not expect the tranquility you may find...More
My room was 211. It was filthy. Coffee had dripped down the bedroom wall to the skirting board, it had also dripped down the front of the dressing table and was also to be found on the telephone. The wardrobe had discarded chocolate wrappers ,...More

I don't think it would be suitable. There are steps everywhere. While we were there a man with 2 sticks was struggling up the stairs to the restaurant for breakfast. There was no lift or stair lifts that I could see.

he Hotel has it's own off-street car park opposite the Hotel. Some parts of the car park are visible from some of the rooms situated at the front (street-side) of the Hotel. There is no gate to the car park, but it is off-street, and staff are aware of vehicle registrations. I do not know what security arrangements are like with regard to checking on vehicles. People other than residents guests also use the car park.

"Ask for a river view. Fantastic flowing river. And quieter too."
