Have just spent 3 nights at this B&B. What a lovely place it is. Nothing is too much trouble for Cath and her staff. Had a slight problem the first night with our first room but Cath had it all sorted by the time we got back from our day out. Comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep. Usually I cannot eat a cooked breakfast in many B&Bs but the one at Cambrian House is absolutely superb. Meaty bacon and very tasty sausages - locally sourced and excellent quality.. Best breakfast in a B&B - should be award winning! The Cambrian House will definitely be our first choice of B&B when we next visit Llangollen. Thank you Cath for making our visit to Llangollen very comfortable..

I stayed a couple of nights recently to attend my Daughters wedding. I had a couple of issues prior to the stay which Cath sorted out promptly. I stayed in a lovely room with a king sized bed and slept very well both nights. It was a nice big room with a good powerful shower and large en-suite. Breakfast was lovely, full English and set me up for the day. Cath is a great host and the staff there are brilliant and friendly. It is also a very Covid conscious hotel which in my view is good. Would I recommend - Yes Would I stay again - Yes

We have had another fantastic stay at the Cambrian House, Kath, Simon and staff are just so welcoming and very accommodating. Myself, my best friend and her small daughter Ruby always stay in the annex cottage in the grounds which is perfect for us as there is 2 bedrooms which have one single bed and 2 single beds, both rooms have a telly and there are tea and coffee making facilities and also a lovely bathroom, and everything is so clean and tidy and very comfortable beds which is most important. Breakfasts are excellent and very delicious, also they accommodate my friends dietary requirements too which is a bonus. My little goddaughter Ruby just loves Kath as she is so joyful and happy and Ruby so looks forward to our stays here. So Kath, Simon and staff, we will see you again later in the year, and it can’t come soon enough.

A perfect B&B to stay in. Cath is so welcoming and friendly its a very personalised touch. Very comfortable modernised rooms which for the price is outstanding compared to other local B&B'S along with a full cooked welsh breakfast and other lighter choices. Cambrian house is very close to the town centre and you can easily walk through to the river and along to the centre. Cath advised us on ensuring we booked tables for bars/ restaurants and where the best spots around were which helped a bunch. All in all we will be back again and can't wait to see Cath and her amazing Staff again!

Although we had booked the day before, we were rejected because of our late arrival. A mail received early in the morning was mentioning that is was not anymore possible to check in after 9pm, but the reservation was not cancelled despite we had told that we would arrive probably at 10 pm. Finally when we knocked the door at 9.40 pm the house keeper aggressively refused to let us in. After a hard day of hiking and travelling we had to find another hotel and pay for the room we had not used. I strongly not recommend this terrible place.

Great place to stay with lovely walk through the nearby park and along the river to the town centre close by. On first arriving Cath met us with a very friendly warm welcome and the room was very comfortable; and as mentioned by others all the extra little additions and touches were very nice as well as great breakfast, with lots of options to choose from, served by great friendly staff. Hotel is adjacent to a busy main road so if staying in a room facing the rood may need ear plugs but no problem as these too already provided. Cath and staff thanks again for an enjoyable stay. Would recommend and stay again.

As others have mentioned, it`s the little personal touches which make places such as Cambrian House stand out. The fact that I received a friendly phone call, the morning of my stay, to let me know that the car park would be full, due to a load cyclists staying and their vans being in the car park and then advising me of alternative places to park. The ancillary electric heater in the bedroom, so if you need to rise early like me and the central heating isn`t on, you can avoid having to get showered and dressed in a cold room. I stayed as a solo traveller, prior to a local fell race, so needed to be up early and also get a decent nights sleep. I couldn`t have asked for a better place to stay. Cath, who runs the place was so friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home. I stay away quite regularly in rural locations with my running and quite often, as a solo traveller, you end up in what I would describe as a " broom cupboard " with a bed and a skylight ! My room was fantastic, spotless, light and airy, with proper quality bed linen and a brand new bathroom, with a power shower. I slept like a log and was away before anyone else got up - Cath having made me a continental breakfast bag to take out with with, in lieu of breakfast ( another nice touch ) Cambrian House is without doubt one of the best places I`ve stayed at on my travels with my running and is incredible value for what you`re getting. A massive thanks to Cath and the team for making my stay so comfortable.

Just got back from 4 nights at the Cambrian House B&B, from the moment we arrived (4 chaps on motorbikes) we were greeted with smiles and laughs in the car park and given the most secure area to leave the bikes! Rooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Super breakfast every morning, unlimited coffee and OJ refills all served with a smile and a joke. Just what we needed, a great base for our exploration of north Wales on the bikes. Will happily recommend and come back again. Hope to see you all soon. James
