This was the third occasion we had the pleasure of staying in the hotel. As on the previous visits everything was excellent. Kevin (owner) and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have dietary requirements and this was dealt with without any problems. Once again one can only rave about the location, it is ideal for those wanting to...

To get to Bryn Eglwys Country House you could not ask for a more stunning entrance. The drive through breathtaking green Welsh countryside on a lovely sunny June afternoon set us in the right mood . The hotel is situated on a rise overlooking one of the most beautiful villages in Wales if not all of Britain and an easy...

We spent two nights at this fabulous hotel and were really well looked after. Had a wonderful view of the mountains from our room. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly. Great location for the Welsh Highland Railway and walking.

Beautiful location and very impressive dining. The staff were very welcoming, particularly two staff from Hungary for whom nothing was too much trouble. The owner also welcomed every guest personally during dinner. A warm touch. As vegetarian I was really stunned at the great variety of dishes served - not your usual cheesy pasta or cheesy something else. We have...

Great location, breakfast to die for. Dinner freshly cooked and excellently prepared. Hotel now has very fast WIFi (free if you book direct). Perfect location in heart of Snowdonia and the staff were as helpful and friendly as ever. Shame they close for a few months in winter, it would be gorgeous with snow on the mountains.

This charming hotel is in a central location in the pretty village of Beddgelert. Our room was comfortable and beautifully furnished, with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Breakfast was a delight, none of the horrible barely warm buffet set up that is a personal hate. It was delicious, freshly cooked and served by the staff as was the starter and...

This hotel is beautifully located in a quiet country spot with fabulous views and it is only a short walk into Beddgelert, which itself is a small beautiful village at the confluence of two rivers. The walk from the hotel down the Aberglaslyn pass is just stunning. It is near to Snowdon, a copper mine and a range of other...

On arrival not the friendly welcome we was expecting, only a reprimand for not booking the double superior room correctly, eg for 2 people, told we would have to pay an extra £20. In the evening we found Kevin the barman less than friendly when ordering drinks, we did not feel welcome at all. In contrast Reni & Csilla were...

We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Kevin, who, together with his staff, conveyed our luggage from the car to our room. It was a delightful room overlooking the mountainous scenery and part of the village of Beddgelert. The hotel itself is set in a superb, almost magical position. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal cooked and superbly presented...

Excellent stay yet again, great food and very comfortable accommodation. Thoroughly recommended. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being too quick to move you on to the next course in the restaurant
