We first visited Tan Dinas last year and looked forward to having a reason to return to this wonderful B&B. We have just returned from a three night stay and once again, everything here is just as you hope it will be. Rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished, the whole house has a calm and welcoming feel and...

As you noted we have a high guest return rate and it is one of the reasons we love our job, it is always special to open the door and see returning guests who, like yourself we view as friends. Often the breakfast room is full of guests who have been before and many have met each other on previous...

Tan Dinas' location is great, surrounded by greenery and yet is a short walk to nature walks, shops and restaurants. I could see sheep and birds from my room's windows. It's beautiful. The place is very well maintained. Room is nicely decorated, cosy and feels like home. There is a reading corner and living room to unwind. Breadfast choices are...

Many thanks for your informative review. It is our pleasure to help guests enjoy their holidays in this beautiful part of the world. It is so easy to get around by bus and particularly to Mount Snowdon. The six paths are all different , with some easier and more straight forward than others, I believe it is important to choose...

How lovely that you returned with both sets of parents to show them Tan Dinas where you spent your honeymoon. We are delighted they all had such a nice time and that you will be returning for a third visit with friends in the future. Please thank them for their lovely gifts to us. Thank you for your review.

From the comfortable beds in the immaculately clean rooms to the wonderful breakfasts and suggestions for local walks, our hosts Eileen and John made us feel that their home was our home for the week. The beautiful Victorian villa (once a hunting lodge for the estate we were told),situated at the top of a lane, was in a very peaceful...

Thank you for choosing Tan Dinas for your weeks holiday. We enjoyed your company and were astounded at the amount of miles you covered on foot during your stay, however, fear not, for when you return, I will have lots more walks to recommend! Johns lovely breakfasts set all our guests up for the day and we are happy you...

Thanks for your kind review. Betws-y-Coed is about mid-way between both of the famous Zip Wires and in fact only 20 minutes away from the majority of attractions and activities in North Wales, making Tan Dinas the ideal place to stay. This area is known as the hub of adventure so we are hoping when you come again for another...

The beautiful old house is situatated in stunning surrounding with regular visits from woodpeckers and many different finches and tits, the room was very comfortable, with a nice added touch of a fridge with fresh milk for the tea and coffee and i...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and many thanks for your kind review. There's nothing quite like a hot drink and piece of cake is there after a long journey and pleased to note you enjoyed it. We get so many different species of bird here in North Wales and we think most of them choose to eat...

It certainly made a change opening the door to a guest who was clutching their swollen head after being stung by a wasp, which incidentally was later found dead in the porch. Applying ice immediately seemed to do the trick and of course a slice of cake and cup of tea always helps! It was lovely to see you both...

A warm welcome greeted me after my 4 hour drive. I was immediately in awe of the setting of Tan Dinas. After climbing Snowdon all night I came back to a delicious breakfast and very comfy bed. Thank you for writing a review, but more importantly thank you for walking up Snowdon on a dark, rainy and cold night to raise funds for research into Alzheimer's. It was a pleasure to meet you and help you to recover after your ordeal. We look forward to welcoming you back to our home again.

I recently returned to Georgia (USA) from a journey in the U.K. and found Tan Dinas Country House to be magnificent. Each room is named after a tree; I stayed in Rowan which recently had been updated and it was lovely with a terrific view. Eileen and John are gracious hosts. Don't forget to try John's Welsh Rarebit and Porridge.

Thanks for writing a review about your recent stay. It's a lovely journey on the train and so quick from London - 3hrs 30 minute station to station. Being situated in the forest, all walks start at our doorstep and we often have guests who stay a week or more and never move their car from our car park. John...
