Not perfect, but has enough charm to make up for it. The rooms and bar are clean, quaint, and cozy. For some reason they really didn't want to let it's pay for our drinks or meals, really wanted to put it on the Room tab. Breakfast is decent, but there are different options listed in the room than on the...

Husband selected this hotel for his birthday weekend away based on previous reviews so we were a little disappointed to find it is a little shabby and in need of an upgrade. We have stopped at similar places for half the price. Food was ok but again very pricey for what you get. Puddings in particular were £1-£2 higher than...

We stayed for 2 nights in September 2016, and had a delightful stay at Ty Gwyn. The property, an ancient coaching inn around the corner from Betws-y-Coed village, oozes charm and warmth, and its owner, Martin, is professional, courteous and flexible. The latter came to the fore when, following a mix up in booking (which was of my doing), we...

Booked for one night off the internet...what a great choice. Friendly staff, modern bedrooms.... And as for the rest..... Makes you feel you could well be back in the 1600's when this building originated. Cosy fire, oak beams, nooks and crannys.... And on top of that superb meals....all at reasonable prices. We will be back. Within few minutes walk of...

Delicious locally sourced food served by lovely staff who gave us as a warm, friendly welcome as the open fire. Particularly enjoyed the local mussels which were amazing... best ever. The service was quick qhich really surprised us as the food was home cooked and if such a high standard. Top notch😊

Great old coaching Inn just outside Betws-y-Coed. Beautiful old world charm. Location was close to everything in beautiful Snowdonia. The restaurant was a real jem. The menu was huge and food was excellent. Chef sat down with us and discussed menu and made alterations based on special needs. Very personal touch with the staff. Cozy bar and restaurant was an...

Came here last night for my birthday with family and unfortunately there was a film crew here shooting an advert and the whole place was absolutely swamped with people. We couldn't move freely through the bar area or get to the toilets properly. It was a fiasco really. The food wasn't too bad though when it came and we did...
