This is a beautiful building and the staff are lovely however... We waited to check in for 20 mins whilst 6 members of staff walked past and said they couldn't check us in (not their job). The evening meal was over priced and underwhelming but the breakfast did not impress us either. We stayed in the superior deluxe room which... More

Stopped off for an impromptu lunch and found a gem. Great food and location, being Center of betws y coed. Autumn menu was well chosen and highly recommend the pheasant for a main or bread and butter pudding for dessert.

Stayed here for the second time having visited 6 years ago, a bit disappointed this time. The room we had was very noisy and when we mentioned this when we checked out the receptionist suggested we book a superior room in future (no apology). The food at breakfast was ok but the choice of continental breakfast was very limited. Grill... More

Stayed in stables at cheapest rate, lovely clean room, power shower, tv and modern comfortable bed. View across park and free parking at rear. Very friendly staff throughout the stay who could not do enough for you. Ate in the restaurant with a 5star meal. Beautifully cooked local food by a chef who knows how to cook. Next table had... Came in for a drink before dinner on Friday and Saturday. Did not stay in the hotel. The atmosphere in the bar is lovely and peaceful. A great place if you want to chat with people and enjoy a drink. Would recommend for a drink but I can not comment on the accommodation.

Are you looking to stay somewhere with plenty of charm and close to Mt. Snowdon? This place is perfect. It has an 'inn' kind of feel - a nice period building full of character. It's cosy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location overlooking a stream. Looks lovely from outside - very picturesque. Close to some nice... More
