Planned to stay here for three nights in August but changed it to one night once we realised this hostel was not run by the YHA directly. Unfortunately we couldn't get anywhere for the third night so had to stay. I was travlelling with my partner and two young children. We were allocated a six bunk room in what looked...

Just returned after a 2 nights stay. 3 of us in a four bed bunk room (Room 10). Everything you could possibly need kitchen wise, great if you want to go self catering. I would recommend going into town for food.....breakfast was pretty bad and repeated on me the whole day while climbing. So we chose to dine elsewhere for...

The rooms are clean, the shower was hot and the kitchen was very well equipped. This was my first time stopping with the YHA, and I was not disappointed. Loads of people to talk to, the scenery is fantastic. And all for £12 a night. I have booked another night in a weeks time, this will be a trip with...

Part of the Swallows hotel complex, opposite the Swallow falls a couple of km from Betws-Y-Coed. It has basic bunk rooms in a bungalow annexe. Comfortable enough and with individual lighting. No 9 had an ensuite with a warm shower too. The Kitchen was well equipped complete with large dinning table. The hotel bar/pub does beer n food too.

Used it for a Base for MTB and we will book again Suitable for groups or family's . The bunk house is a bit further out from the village than I expected but it's not a problem as...

I stayed here for 6 nights in July 2015. The room was very basic but had an en suite shower. Kitchen area had everything you could need. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the cooked breakfast each morning was good. Food in the hotel next door was lovely. Only complaint for me was I found the bed a little...

Stayed here for a long weekend recently to do some sightseeing and bike riding in Snowdonia. I have stayed in many hostels, bunkhouses, YHAs etc and this was easily the worst and dirtiest I have ever had the misfortune to have paid for. The kitchen was filthy ... it needed a good steam clean. There was months worth of accumulated...

We loved this place, we stayed for 2 nights in between hiking snowdon and its exactly what you expect of a hostel, fully equipt kitchen, rooms are clean an showers hot. The staff were great and really looked after us like we were the hotel guests, even let us use the sauna. Pub food was nice too and staff friendly....

Took a drive with the dog to Betws-y-coed after a long and difficult week I needed sometime to think, what a perfect place to do it, the locals stopped to chat while I was walking in the rain! Walked along the river and was carried away by the beauty of the place. Wonderful pathways and majestic scenery even on a...

Stayed for two nights. Rooms were very dusty and not a great deal of ventilation was going through the rooms at all. The kitchen facilities were ok. Wouldn't stay again as the condition of the rooms and weren't great and not very well cleaned.
