Just had a weekend away at the lemon tree. Hotel is easy to find with free parking (but very tight car parking spaces be warned ) Check in wasn't that friendly which can put you off when you first arrive. The woman just said." Name, 2 nights, then handed us key and pointed up to room" we had booked a king...

We often pop in for a spot of lunch and we always absolutely love it:@)We find the staff warm and friendly and the food is just delicious, all in a lovely setting. I'm a bit of a cheese fan so adore the brie and bacon paninis. I noticed on last couple of visits this was no longer available but after...

So I have recently visited The Lemon Tree for the first time with some friends for afternoon tea. The food was really lovely! Couldn't fault it at all. Would definitely go back for the food. Unfortunately the treatment off the staff was appalling. She didn't make us feel welcome at all, in fact she made us feel like we weren't...

Popped in for lunch and was extremely impressed with the menu, service, staff and price. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good food in exceptional surroundings. Will certainly be using this restaurant again, regularly.

We stayed overnight in December and found the place cosy and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and attentive and although we did not eat an evening meal in the restaurant the high quality of the breakfast bodes well for those using the restaurant. The room was clean and very comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending this place to...

We loved our one-night stay! When we arrived we decided to have lunch in the restaurant out of convenience, and what a lucky decision that was! It was our best meal by far! We ordered the Chicken Supreme and the Fish and Chips (to die for). The waitresses were very nice and our host, Tom, was very gracious the morning...

When we got there we were treated to afternoon tea at 2pm, finger sandwiches, lovely little cakes with scones jam and cream. All washed down with a nice cuppa. terrific! The room we were booked into was number...

Went today with a friend for the sparkling afternoon tea which was delicious. Lots of sandwiches, bara brith, cake, scone and syllabus. We certainly didn't go home hungry! Staff were extremely pleasant and didn't complain or make us feel awkward when we were still there talking 4 hours later! Thanks very much.
