I and two friends went for a pre-opening lunch on Sunday afternoon. We were looked after by Freya, who was attentive and knowledgeable. My meal was lovely. Nicely presented and tasty. I ordered a sweet which was also very nice. When Freya served the main meal and also the drinks, it was done perfectly, but unfortunately, the sweets were served...

First time visiting since the refurbishment and was impressed with what they have done. Food selection was great and the price is fair. Both the wife and i enjoyed our meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the drinks were a bit expensive. £4.50 for a lager shandy cost nearly as much as the meal....

Went for food at the newly revamped Wellington Hotel in Brecon. Nicely spruced up, lovely food reasonably priced, and EXCELLENT service. We had a young lady serving us at our table who was just wonderful!! Nothing was too much trouble, she was knowledgeable and courteous. So we'd like to thank Freya and say we look forward to our next visit!

An absolutely lovely visit, fresh clean and lovely staff. Our server was Nicole so friendly I overheard her with the next table ordering deserts (we didn't) she knew so much about the menu. A big thumbs up all around. Food was fresh, piping hot and yummy. Warm and welcoming on a cold day.

Today, as a party of 4 adults, we had lunch at the newly refurbished Wellington Hotel in the centre of Brecon town. This was a preview event before fully opening on Monday, 5th December. The new decor is lovely and welcoming. Gone is the dark colour scheme. We ate Chicken Fajitas, Chicken Jalfrezi, Asian Glazed Steak and Red pepper Noodle...

We had a stop over here for a night but didn't spend much time at the hotel other than for sleeping and breakfast. The hotel was undergoing an external refurb at the time but this wasn't a problem, the rooms however are overdue a refurb, it hasn't been decorated for a while, the lock was broken on the bathroom door...

Went to the Wellington Hotel for a lunch with some friends I was visiting in Brecon. The hotel was in a convenient location and had plenty of sit down space inside. The food was amazingly good and service was polite and very fast. My only criticism is the decoration in the bar areas as it looked incredibly tired, dated and...
