We turned up for a last minute Sunday lunch to find dirty tables - not just tables that hadn't been cleared but just plain dirty; chairs were very old and smelly with grey, shiny arms; napkins and food on floor.....stains on the ceiling??? I requested the table be wiped clean to be told it had just been done.....but he did...

Rubbish customer service, basic food and is not good value, cold coffee just plonked on the table as with the cutlery, no dialogue between customer and staff, very unwelcoming atsmosphere.. Says pet friendly ( no water bowl or treats) dark dismal and dirty.. Needs revamping and new staff that are friendly. Avoid at all costs

We dropped in for dinner to see if it had improved since our last visit. It has..... Very good prices and a 2 meals for 12 pounds offer Monday to Friday. We had fish and chips and 2 drinks and followed by tea and coffee. Whole bill was £24. Service was good.

A very last minute booking and the manager couldn't have been more helpful waiting up for my late arrival with a warm welcome. Whilst I gather this hotel was in the middle of a refush, the rooms and bacon sandwich kindly made to spec were great value for money

We visited over the bank holiday weekend and the hotel just didn't seem to be able to cope with the amount of visitors. The rooms were clean and adequate although the 'double' bed was two twins pushed together and was very hard and uncomfortable. We tried to get a sandwich from their menu and were told that they couldn't accept...

I am sorry if you feel you didn’t have the best Wellington experience, I would like to respond to your comments as I feel they are an unfair representation of us. 1) The bed quality – we have a number of rooms with specially designed beds to be zipped together to make a...

We have just returned from having an evening meal in the Wellington restaurant. They had run out of fish. They had run out of spare ribs. They must have run out of onions because meals which should have included them were served without. They had even run out of garden peas. And we waited nearly an hour for the food...

The Wellington is handy if you're looking to visit the Brecon Beacons and good value for money. Breakfast will set you up for the day, the restaurant menu has plenty of choices and the bar stocks a good range of beers.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the Brecon Beacons. The room was comfortable and well equipped with ensuite facilities (bath/shower and toilet), a flat screen TV well positioned so we could see it in bed, plenty of electrical sockets and free wifi. Water flow in the shower wasn't that good, but the was adequate and...
