Fabulous 2 night stay at this lovely b&b. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Room was comfortable with great view to pen y fan mountain. The lounge area was relaxing and great to have a drink in before we went out on Saturday evening and the breakfasts were so tasty. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for 4 nights in room 6 Very relaxing environment, room was comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were exceptional, cooked to order - it reminded me of staying at the Scotsman Hotel, Edinburgh in the late 90’s. Highly recommend as a base from which to explore.

Wow this bed and breakfast is absolutely stunning! I only booked to stay here for one night and I wish I had stayed longer! I booked to stay in the Kings Keep room which was absolutely beautiful, I had a huge bath in the bedroom which was such a lovely treat, the bed was super comfy and the room was lovely and warm and snug, the decor of the room was beautiful. The room was at the top of the house with a narrow staircase which was ok for me but wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The owners of the B&B were very friendly and welcoming. There is also an honestly bar if you fancied a something to drink and a beautiful lounge to relax in if you didn’t want to sit in your room. Breakfast was lovely and this has to be ordered the night before lots of choice too, there is also yogurt and granola with a lovely compote it was delicious. I will definitely be returning to this B&B. I also booked direct as the rates are better than booking though a booking.com.…

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. Hosts were really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great-we’re both vegetarian and the choice was brilliant. Our room at the top of the house was lovely. Very clean and lovely bed linen/towels/bathrobes. The tea tray was very full and water and milk available. Would recommend and will visit again at some stage. Great stay.

A beautifully cosy and quirky B&B. We were looked after so well from the moment we entered right up until our departure. We stayed in Priory View and it was incredibly comfortable - we slept soundly in the king size bed with no disruption. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast each morning served by the lovely attentive hosts Paula & Glenn. If we find ourselves in Brecon again, The Town House would be our first choice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay (in the Priory View Room). The room was spacious and breakfast delicious, especially the daily yogurt with fresh compote. Appreciated the blackout window treatments, which did block out any light. The house was in a great location and we never had trouble getting parking in the nearby lots. The only critical comment is we had a neighbor in the upstairs who was a bit noisy and could be heard in our room directly underneath. Regardless, we would definitely recommend Brecon Town House.

Thank you for your great review. Obviously we are sorry that you were disturbed by noisy guests above you. Perhaps if you had contacted me I could have politely asked them to try and be quieter, Unfortunately you just never know what guests will arrive but I am glad to say in 7 years this is only our second time that someone has mentioned it. 99.99% of our guests are very considerate of others staying. We do hope that you will come back and visiting again. Don't forget to book direct for the cheapest rate ! Thank you ! Paula

It was our second stay at the townhouse, everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and spotless room. We had the castle keep room at the top, amazing views of pen y fan. That room has a bath which is useful after hiking all day! Paula and Glenn are very welcoming. Would stay again next time we're in Brecon and highly recommended to others.

I made a last minute booking here after spending 4 nights in a tent and not particularly fancying another, and having spent quite a bit of time scouring booking.com, I couldn't have been more overjoyed with my decision. Paula was an amazing host from the get go, grabbing me everything I needed for a cup of tea, and making me feel completely at home. The room (just like the rest of the house) was spotless, full of character and with high quality furnishings and fittings. After popping out for a quick bite, I got to enjoy the incredibly cosy guest lounge (all to myself, being the only guest that night) and then back to my room to relax on the bed with a film on the Internet-ready television. Come morning the breakfast was beautiful, a tasty little granola pot with homemade compote and then a delicious cooked breakfast with local ingredients. I could even see Pen-y-fan from my bedroom window, perfect for keeping an eye on the conditions as I planned to head up there! I can't recommend this place enough, especially for the price given comparisons in the area. I didn't want to leave! …
