A friendly welcome, nicely looked after. A beautiful room, light and airy and clean with everything we needed and attention to detail. Lovely views from our 2 windows. Beautifully renovated property, in a fantastic location. We spent one night here, walking along the canal in the evening, eating a good meal at a local pub and, after a hearty breakfast,...

Our 2 night stay was wonderful and we will return! Beautiful tranquil surroundings with a canal next to it. Room and bathroom were very nice and spacious. Enjoyed the welsh breakfasts and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. To our delight, it was easy to get around by bus which stops near the canal via a country road.

A perfectly situated farmhouse B & B which exceeded all our expectations for comfort, cleanliness, spaciousness, and attention to detail. Spent three days with my husband and three adult children to walk up Pen Y Fann, go kayaking, and cycling along the nearby canal. It all worked brilliantly, with Pen Y Fann in our sights from the B&B at all...

Beautiful location, amazing room, lovely breakfast and a friendly host! Could not have asked for anything more. There are local pubs nearby and loads of places to eat in the nearby Brecon. Highly recommended!

Just returned from a 2 night stay and have to tell everyone what a find it is. It is in an idylic quiet location, nearby the canal with views over open countryside to the peaks of the Brecon Beacons. Rachel is welcoming, friendly and helpful and provides lots of tourist information about the local area. The rooms are spacious and...

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ty Newydd and will highly recommend it to friends and family who fancy a weekend break in the UK. Sid and Rachel were the perfect hosts, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. I work in travel and my husband often teases me about how I study a hotel room....

I stayed here in a twin room. It was lovely, great views and very nice hosts. The room was immaculate and breakfast was very nice, I don't think I've had a nicer view while eating my breakfast! There are some nice pubs with in walking distance and an hours wander down the canal brings you into the middle of Brecon....

I stayed here for my birthday and was looking for somewhere peaceful, scenic and homely and got exactly that. Rachel was very attentive, friendly and accommodating, especially when I wanted to do some painting in the conservatory on a rainy day. She laid down a protective cover on the table so it felt like my own private art studio! Rachel...

This is a very good B&B especially if you're interested in walking, biking or boating along the canal, as it's in Llanfrynach, right on the canal itself. It's a nice walk to Brecon, or the other way with several pubs nearby (including two at walking distance, maybe bring a torch if you're going to be late after dinner). There are...
