Rachel and Sid are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a very relaxing break whilst having a few days away walking. Their B&B is wonderful, in a quiet selcuded spot near the canal, beautifully decorated rooms and excellent views. The cooked breakfast was great, a good start to your day if walking. They are knowledgeable about the area and have plently of...

This is in a superb location on the Brecon canal and only 4 miles from Brecon itself. If you want peace and quiet then this is the place. Rachel and Sid are great hosts, very friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. Our room, which was in the eaves, was lovely and very spacious. Breakfast was very good especially...

We stayed the night with Rachel and Sid and we highly recommend it. The house is situated on the canal and the view is breath taking. The rooms are betiufull and Rachel was keen to help and advice about things to do. We ate at the White swan - a recomendtion of Sid - and it was superb.

Have just returned from 2 nights at this lovely b&b. The room was immaculate, the breakfast very good and for us the most perfect location for a short trip to the area. The local pubs that Rachel recommended didn't disappoint either. So much to do in the area, we walked along the canal path to Brecon enjoying the scenery and...

My 6 year old daughter and I have just spent 2 nights at Ty Newydd B&B. With absolute certainty we know we'll return. Brilliantly run by Rachel (Sid is around as well) the B&B is a lovely building, kept immaculately and located close to the canal with great views. Very peaceful indeed and a pleasure to stay. 200 out of...

This place is super, Rachael is so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room we had was really spacious with a very comfortable bed and lovely views from both windows, it was perfect. Tea and coffee etc is supplied in the room which is a nice touch though we didn't have time to enjoy it as we only...

We stayed at the B&B in the farmhouse for 2 nights with our 3 teenagers in July. The location is fantastic; close by Brecon Beacons national park and a number of small villages. The peaceful setting next to a canal is a nice place to take a walk and it was lovely just spending time around the farmhouse and taking...

We stayed at Ty Newydd for two nights when we had a wedding in Brynich in August. We had booked another B&B but they could not accept a check in after 9pm, however Rachel was more than happy to accomodate our late arrival. She was very welcoming (even though it was 11.30pm!) as we had had another wedding in Darlington...

I stayed at Ty Newydd B&B for two nights in July. My friend and I arrived to a warm welcome and we loved our twin room which was up in the eaves of the farmhouse. Everything we needed for our stay was provided including toiletries in the bathroom and fresh milk for cups of tea. Breakfast was cooked fresh to...
