My husband, 3 year old and 9 month old spent 2 nights here this weekend. We've only been camping once before in an over crowded, noisey campsite over bank holiday with very loud neighbours and children playing ball games against our tent until very very late at night so this campsite in comparison was heaven. There's a no noise policy...

Just as we'd hoped, a perfect campsite, lovely riverside setting, friendly efficient owners who have thought of everything. Loved the fire-trays, cooked a great dinner and breakfast on ours! Ideal for an easy stroll to Brecon town for pub and shopping, with interesting stop at the Cathedral on the way. Hens were great company and tried to stop us leaving!...

I didn't want to write a review for Priory Mill Farm campsite as I didn't want too many people knowing about this perfect spot. If you like a quiet, beautiful setting at one with nature this place is for you. Sitting by the river at night beside our fire pit with a glass of wine in my hand the worries...

Lovely campsite, small but not over booked so plenty of space and no waiting for showers, toilets, facilities etc. Close to Brecon with an easy few minute walk! Lovely river running along length of campsite, my friend and I and our dogs enjoyed our stay! :)

This is a great little site, perfect for simple camping. Sadly sites like this are all too rare. I was travelling solo by motorbike. Sue, the host, was friendly and efficient. Showers and toilets are clean and worked well. I did notice on arrival that the site was fully booked - I had booked in advance - bear this in...

Priory Mill is a beautiful, quiet and almost perfect campsite. The owners limit the number of tents which gives plenty of space. There are no fixed pitches, but despite turning up last we had plenty of choice on where to camp. The owners supply fire pits for you to have campfires (you need to but the wood or charcoal from...

A short walk from the town of brecon but a beautiful place. Right beside the river, they have recycling bins for everything, toilets, showers, even a few plugs to charge devices. A great campsite and I will definitely return.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had the most wonderful time. The owners welcomed us as we arrived and the site was so pretty. For those wanting a tranquil camping experience this is the place to go. It provides just the right balance between amenities and nature. We could pitch our tent right by the river that runs through the...

We stayed here for two nights and found the campsite just what we were looking for. We pitched the tent alongside the river and it was beautiful. Quiet site, which is what we had wanted. We also had our dogs with us, who must be on leads at all times, but this worked well for us. The site is great...

Contrary to several negative reviews I have just read, we found the camp site and it's owners both friendly and welcoming. There are rules... All Camp sites have them, and they are sensible rules too, to keep everyone happy and safe. The round was firm, we quite liked the chickens and the shower and toilet facilities were really quite good....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If you are looking for a small-scale, low-impact, secluded place to camp, our riverside meadow may provide it. It's only a ten-minute walk from the Georgian market town of Brecon, yet the only buildings visible are our farmhouse and watermill, which provide the perfect backdrop to the camping meadow. Alternatively there is also a one bedroom holiday cottage (advance booking essential). The Granary is accessed up a flight of stone steps beyond the farmhouse. Quiet and secluded, overlooking a part of the river and ancient woodland that is separate from the campers meadow, the cottage also has its own garden. ... more   less
