Arrived fairly late in the evening for a 1 night stop and was greeted with a warm welcome, a decent pint, a very good breakfast and promise to return. I most certainly will as the proprietor was most accommodating.

We held my sons 18th birthday celebrations here. He boards at Christ College Brecon so this was an ideal location. I booked several rooms for family and friends too. The staff on check in we're very helpful and friendly, as we're the bar staff and catering staff. Very attentive, enthusiastic and supportive. The food was served very punctually and was...

This has a very local comfortable feel in Wales. The hotel grounds are a nice side and the hotel is very open and inviting. How ever our room was at an angle of course it's an old building but laying in bed and the draws were sat at a weird angle on top of the floor boards. Not ideal for...

Stayed here on New Year's Eve. Excellent hotel, amazing staff and a first class breakfast using only quality ingredients. One of the best small hotels I have stayed in for some time. Would certainly recommend this place and stay there again. The restaurant menu looked very good. Next time I will certainly have dinner here. We were attending an event...

Everyone we met at reception, bar and restaurant made us feel at home. Whilst visiting we ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was great and reasonably priced. Our party...

We were here for a conference the facilities were great the food was to a great standard, and the service was a good standard. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable but the area was superb with the mountains and the river. Superb .

Stayed one night, and had lunch, dinner and breakfast. Food was very good, breakfast was included in my tariff but no skimping, plenty of it and good quality. Accommodation side was a little weak, room wasn't suitable for someone as tall as me, I kept cracking my skull on the overhead beams, the shower barely flowed, and the toilet flush...

Customer service not brilliant. The bathroom had a public hair in the bath and upon pinion this out it was removed but no apology for the room being in that state. Very low ceilings and beams which give it feel and character but also means bumping heads in the dark on the way to the bathroom at night. The dinner...
