I stayed here on business, this hotel was booked by the client, it is in a good location in the town and depending on room good view of surrounding areas. I feel the hotel is a story of two halves one is the restaurant which serves lovely food with good service and the hotel which is fairly average. The room...

We attended our friends wedding on Saturday 23rd May. My partner was the best man and we stayed 2 nights (the night before the wedding & the night of the wedding). The first night our 10 month old son stayed with us. The staff were lovely and very accommodating with us. Food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and worth...

I booked this hotel for my partners birthday. The hotel is located in a beautiful location with stunning views, the castle is impressive. The bedroom was nice but nothing special as the bathroom ceiling looked as though it was about to fall down and there was a nice crack in the bath. The pipes rattled and were very noisy! This...

Wonderful small hotel with a very pleasant staff. We had a view of the mountains. Walked through out the small town visiting all the sites from the cathedral to the regimental museum. Time constraints stopped us taking a canal trip. Dinner was superb. Talking with locals in the pub was worth the trip.

When l arrived at the hotel it was in the middle of redecoration. I was given the key to a single room at the end of what seamed to be an endless corridor, on the way l had to climb over paint tins littering the corridor and moving ladders to get to my room, totally unacceptable so went back to...

Although I had a room at the back of the hotel it was nicely furnished. The room service menu provided a wide choice, I chose the fish platter and it was delicious. Best room service food I have had in a very long time and great value for money .

My daughter and son in law planned a very short notice wedding at this perfect venue. I cannot praise the staff enough, everything was wonderful, the staff were without exception fabulous in every way. My extra special thanks go to Laura and Jen who were happy, helpful, extremely hard working and a joy to have met. The food was delicious...

Booked a room to attend a retirement do. Was greeted by a friendly member of staff who was most helpful. Room was compact but nicely decorated. Loved the toiletries. Breakfast was just ok however the evening meal the previous evening was delicious. Well worth the charge for a standard room.

The hotel is conveniently situated in the town. It has its own car park, although it's quite small so you have to pick the right time to park. The views out the back are lovely - over the hills and mountains, but the rooms at the front overlook the car park. There seems to be a marked difference between the...

The location of this hotel is clearly it's selling point, conveniently located within a five minute walk of the town centre. Parking at the hotel is ample and free. The hotel by the nature of its name is an old building which retains a great deal of charm with photographs showing a stay by Lloyd George in 1929. Having said...
