What a lovely peaceful location, excellent hosts, very friendly, and informative, fantastic room ( clean! clean! clean!) with plenty of tea, coffee and lovely tray bakes! - excellent big breakfast for walkers, the hosts were really friendly and also gave you the option of a totally independent stay. We'll be back!!

The second visit didn't disappoint - the warm and friendly greeting just as welcoming as the first. The breakfast sets you up for the day and the finishing touch has to be the freshly baked cakes waiting in your room upon return. Derwen Deg has to rate as one of the best b&b I've ever stayed at - Lynn and... More

My wife and I recently stayed here for 3 nights during a holiday in the Brecon Beacons and extraordinarily glad we did! Cannot speak highly enough of this superb B&B! Excellent room, very comfy bed and the breakfast was by far the best we have eaten for a long time, both in quality and quantity, Views from the double room... More

We arrived here with our friends for 3 nights, beautiful rooms very modern, high quality and comfortable. I loved the rear aspect of the property to which our room looked out onto gorgeous countryside and a fabulous large water garden feature containing carp, and an excellent outdoor area under cover, perfect for eating or a quiet drink and playing cards... My second visit and still just as friendly. Wonderful hosts - Lynne & Gary and not forgetting their lovely daughter Megan and Barney the dog. I stayed in the twin room with a friend. Beautifully clean and with excellent breakfast that kept you going all day and then coming back later in the day to a treat like scone and... More

We have stayed here three times now, and there is a reason for that. The hosts are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, the accommodation is beautiful and very comfortable, the food is alway outstanding (Lynn bakes too, so there are always treats in your room) and the location is perfect for exploring the Beacons. We don't like to... More

Great stay for the second year running! Lynn and Gary are fantasic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They coped with our constantly changing plans, the trailer with our race car, the appearance of two extra family members needing showers, a daughter who didn't like eggs or dogs. Nothing fazed them! Welcome, rooms, breakfasts all above and beyond. Arrangements... More

Great location and spot on hosting. Attentive but certainly not overwhelming. Just right and I genuinely mean that. The breakfasts were delicious as were the home-made cakes. That was a very good touch. They pay attention to the small details which totally make the overall experience. Megan was a sweetie, as was Barney the pooch, and we even got to... More
