The views over to the iconic Beacons were perfect and it was good to be able to walk from the B&B. Small, but adequate, twin rooms for four friends determined to get some good walking. The breakfasts (we stayed three nights) were excellent - perfectly cooked and meeting our bespoke requirements (i.e. all different!). The evening meals (we ate there...

We stayed one night here and had a most enjoyable stay, the rooms are pleasant and well appointed , a little small perhaps but that is quite normal in this type of small authentic old hotel, the bar is quite pleasant with a good mix of locals and residents the landlord was very welcoming and was socialising in the bar,...

After driving around trying several places who catered for a vegan, we finally tried Tai'r Bull Fantastic, considering it was a Sunday and they had just finished serving sunday lunch, they were happy to prepare a vegan meal without prior notice The food was gorgeous, staff friendly and create a lovely atmosphere Will definitely return soon, thanks so much!

Comfortable room, good food for dinner and breakfast. I spent the evening watching football and talking to the landlord and a group of friendly locals. A most enjoyable stay, I will stay here again to climb the Beacons.

We had an excellent time at the Tai'r Bull Inn. A group of ten of us visited on a Saturday night (make sure you pre-book if you're a large group as the pub is pretty small). The atmosphere was great - very welcoming, and the pub has loads of traditional charm. The food and service were really good (bear in...

What a warm welcome we had today at the Tai'r Bull!! We regularly pass by on our way to our caravan in Builth so today we called on the off chance of a Sunday lunch for 4 without a booking! We were immediately given a table without any waiting time which was great for our hungry 7 and 10 year...

We stayed here 2 nights during our walking weekend just past. It is a cosy pub with charming rooms, friendly service, good food and brilliant prosecco! It had the perfect location for us, close to the Storey Arms Centre. Simple comfort with great atmosphere. We loved it and will be back. Highly recommended.

I took part in a number of outdoor activities on the Brecon Beacons. The Bed and Breakfast was very well situated close to the Storey arms. Huw and Helen were extremely hospitable and welcoming. After our long walk on the Brecon Beacons in January, it was great to sit in front of a roaring fire and have a hearty warm...
