Stayed here in the large tipi. 2 adults, 2 13 year olds. Had a fabulous week. Only 3 tipis and 1 log cabin on a very spacious site. Beautiful spot under the Brecons with a river flowing past. The most relaxing holiday I have ever had, even knocking all inclusive Cuba into a close second place. The supply of well... More

I posted a review a couple of years ago recommending these tipis and we have just returned from our second visit. We were just as enthusiastic on our second visit: the tipis are still magical; the site still peaceful and very clean; and the smokey flavours infusing the food incredible. Since we last visited there is an impressive looking cabin... More

Absolutely splendid! !!!!! We stayed in the cabin and the attention to detail for the whole camp is second to none. Warm welcome on arrival and Rob showed us how everything worked then left to our own devices in a beautiful setting with the river just metres from us. All in all 10/10 thank you Rob & Sara from the... More

We booked in at Camp Cynrig last minute and we were not disappointed. We stayed Monday to Friday and had the most amazing holiday. Everything about the camp has been well thought out and there were lots of surprising little extras (phone chargers in lockers, solar charged light bulb in the tipi) and you can tell that the owner takes... As soon as we set foot into this Tipi Village I knew it was a very special place we'd love to return to. The site is beautiful in its simplicity; the owners have created a perfect retreat for families, or indeed anyone, who wishes to camp in comfort, under the stars of this International Dark-Sky Reserve, with the river running... Rob and Sara have done even more to improve the site , adding a six berth cabin which is beautifully hand built and in keeping with the rest of the site, all we ever take for entertainment for the kids is a ball and as you can imagine entertaining 6 kids under 7 yrs old is usually tricky, not here... We stayed in one of the larger tipi's last weekend and despite the drizzle it was one of the best weekends we've ever had as a family! The camp is beautiful, clean and they have literally thought of everything. The tipi's are just magical and the field is secure! The amenities are spotless and they even have toddler loo seats!... Thank you for your glowing review. I am sorry to hear about the Gas Stove. We have tested it and it is working fine, it must have been having a moment. Rob is always on hand and would have been more than happy to have helped with it. Other than that, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your... More

Camp Cynrig Tipi Village is the ideal place to escape the stresses of everyday life and enjoy a unique and very cool glamping experience in the beauty of Mid Wales. Within the immediate area you can take a lazy walk, following the river upstream and stopping for a swim or a picnic along the way or take a 2 minute walk to Cantref Adventure Farm for a fun filled day of games and animals - sure to keep the children entertained for hours! Our sioux tipis and camping cabin are set in a gently sloping field bordered by the River Cynrig and all units have their own outdoor bbq/campfire, seating and hammock area - lovely for spending the long summer evenings eating alfresco under the stars. The tipis and cabin are all kitted out with fire pits or log burner, cooking equipment, gas camping stoves, cool box.
