Booking easy and helpful. Reception helpful and informative. Small car park. we left the car there and walked during our stay. Room spacious, airy, clean, good bathroom, shower easy to use. Ideally located to catch buses into city centre or walk through Sofia Gardens. Excellent Italian restaurant less than 5 minutes walk, others nearby.

I originally booked in 2019 a few rooms to stay in April 2020 which unfortunately were cancelled due to covid. I had made the reservation direct with the hotel, and Carl cancelled the booking without any issue. The same rooms were booked for October 2020 and all had a fantastic stay. The hotel has plenty of character, its own parking, all areas are spotlessly clean, Carl supported by David are excellent hosts nothing is too much trouble, and importantly the breakfast is excellent. It is totally covid compliant and all precautions are taken and enforced. The hotel is in an envious position by Sofia park with a delightful easy walk to Cardiff town centre and to major sporting venues. Finally, a big thank you again to Carl and David, we will return when everything returns to some normality.

loved, loved, loved this place ! The house is amazing! We even had a short history lesson from Carl informing us how Cathedral Rd came to be. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was lovely, nice decor, comfy bed and plenty of white fluffy towels 😁 Breakfast was hot and tasty, well presented & the staff were very attentive. Will definitely stay here again, hopefully in a room with a four poster bed 👍

Dear Lynn, many thanks for your very up-beat and positive review which during the current health situation has provided us with a much needed boost. You and your husband were very appreciative of the architectural features associated with our late Victorian (1900) building especially as over the last 3 years we have painstakingly restored the exterior and interiors of the building to their former glory. Should you happen to book in with us again in the future we would be more than happy to allocate one of our four poster rooms to you. Kind Regards, Lincoln House Hotel

The hotel is located just outside the city centre, a 20-30 minute walk. There is a secure car park at the hotel which accommodates 12 cars so if you arrive late you may need to park in the street. The hotel serves an excellent breakfast and all the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean but on closer inspection could do with a little more attention to detail.

I've booked a one night stay via booking.com, and I've been positevly impressed by my experience at Lincoln House. The position is great and very close to the Castle and the city center. The staff is extremely professional and approachable. The cooked breakfast (included in my reservation) was also very good and with different options to choose from. My suite was spacious and clean, and Covid-19 precautions have been used by the staff all the time for our safety. I couldn't recommend the place enough, and I would definitely return.

Great review which certainly lifts the spirits in this Coronavirus world in which we live and acknowledges the extent of the measures we have introduced to combat the issue. We look forward to your next stay with us. Many Thanks, LHH
