As a couple we like to spend the odd night away every so often and like Cardiff. We normally stay on a Saturday but as it was half term decided on amid week break. Never having tried the Marriott we thought give it a go. Walking in the lobby/reception was very nice and staff were efficient. Our room was okay but...

Location for this hotel is brilliant if you want to be in the city centre. Multi storey car park adjacent to hotel payable extra. We paid for an executive room which then gives you access to the executive lounge which offers complimentary soft drinks throughout the day a small range of snacks and wine and beer in the evening. Room...

Not the newest hotel in Cardiff & to be fair the rooms although large do need a refurbishment. However, the staff are the best especially the two concierge Richard & Jonathan who are 5 star all the way. All bar staff excellent & all reception staff friendly , coffee not too expensive as it operates like a partial Starbucks but...

Just got back after a 2 night stay for my wife's birthday,I have to say,it was a pleasure to see there. When checking in they asked us,was it an occasion that we were there and we told them it was my wife's birthday. Within 30 minutes, they had delivered a birthday card and a nice Pinot Grigio to our room....how nice...

Well sited close to everything, train station, restaurants, shops, John Lewis etc. Hotel has good sized car park. Attractive inside rooms. I would recommend for its easy location to the city centre? Staff were fine and helpful

I chose this hotel as it was walking distance to our meeting, and the hotel was OK. The rooms were a decent size, although the air conditioning was not working and it was very hot. One thing to note is that it is almost impossible to get to/from the car park without going in a bus lane and getting a...

Right in the middle of all the bars and places to eat. Me and my husband stayed here for one night, we are local but fancied a night in a hotel after a works do. I wouldn't be happy to pay more than £100 for a night here, there is no parking and parking in surrounding areas is very pricy.

hotel pretty good but as many people report you will be fined as you leave. When you leave car park TURN LEFT! It looks like a normal road but is a scam by Cardiff Council. Marriott staff say nothing! There are no signs even though this has been going on for ages.

Excellent location for shops and stadium, but is in need of an update. We had a room on the executive floor which gives access to the lounge where you can get drinks and food through out the day included in the price of the room. The hotel is clean and the staff helpful and friendly, it does have secure parking...
