Just what we needed... after our wedding day we just needed somewhere to rest our weary heads and relax for the night, have breakfast before departing for our honeymoon. We were granted a very late check in with no fuss, the night porter was awaiting our arrival, had our room upgraded free of charge and a call from the hotel...

Stayed there recently on a business trip with partner. OK, the hotel is a bit tired and in need of reservation but is set in lovely grounds and if you like playing golf you are in heaven. Staff friendly and obliging. Lovely old fashioned bar with attentive staff, Meal in restaurant was superb but to to top it all was...

Stayed for 3 nights end of May after spending 2 nights in bath. We stayed in room 28 in the main hotel building which was very spacious with a large bathroom. At less than £70 per night it's not what I would call expensive and £13.50 for a bottle of Chilean Sauvignon blanc is certainly not a london price. We...

I booked in for two nights and wish I hadn't. Charging high end prices for poor quality just doesn't cut it...Room advertised high speed wifi ....There is none in lodges. ..lodge was cold and by the looks of the decor style hasn't been decorated for thirty years...charged London price for a glass of ordinary white wine.. bar server had to...

The bed was comfy had a great nights sleep. am sure the new owners will invest in the door and bring the place...

Last March booked three rooms over the phone at this hotel for my husband and myself and two daughters and their families because we were to attend the URDD NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD at Caerffili in May. We were all travelling at different times. When my first daughter arrived with two small children, she was told no room. To cut a long...

We went to hotel for a Sunday lunch with our family. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere here is very friendly and relaxed. The hotel is a fine old building set in landscaped grounds and a golf course(separately owned apparently) well off the main road. Lunch was served in the elegant dining room with an old...

Hubby and I had a night here for some much needed relaxation. The leisure facilities were perfect for what we wanted and we felt thoroughly relaxed after an hour in the pool, sauna etc. We went for the DBB option. Dinner was lovely, we would highly recommend the Bruchetta topped with chorizo, sun dried tomato and olive taponade to start....

Stayed for one night as part of a business trip in the area, the room was large and very clean, the food was excellent, and the staff were all very friendly. The only negative was the WiFi it was very poor in the rooms, you could get it down stairs via a booster aerial, but if you wanted to do...

I have to admit, for the very reasonable cost, I was blown away by this hotel. Absolutely fantastic food, room was great and spacious, and the facilities with the great pool and spa. I had average expectations for this hotel but it well and truly exceeded our expectations. If ever we return to Wales this will be the first place...
