we stayed here for one night on a stay/dinner/ spa package. Had a lovely back massage in the spa and a tasty three course meal on the evening. Our room was fine and the bed comfortable . Reception on the T.V was poor and kept breaking up but didn't bother us as we were attending a party on the evening...

Checked in to hotel after a wedding. Room window stuck fully open. Told night porter but couldn't do anything as no other rooms available. Gale force winds and rain outside, needless to say a sleepless uncomfortable night. Told lady on reception about it when checked out and didn't seem at all bothered. Response was "I'll let housekeeping know". Breakfast was...

I did not stay the night but used the spa. outside was grubby with some rubbish on the floor. Not the best start to book on when the male member of staff told us to sit down and we were left waiting 15 minutes and were only seen to when I went back up to reception. The changing rooms were...

We booked into the hotel for two nights (my husband the night before our wedding and both of us the night of the wedding) along with many of our guests. The first room which my husband stayed in was dated and in need of refurbishment. The best man paid for a different room for us the second night which was...

Booked an overnight stay with friends It was the worst hotel experience. On arrival we were informed of renovation work going on but and then handed a key to our garden room which was a joke in its self and can only be described as a horse stable. The bathroom was mouldy the shower when use would not stop and...

Spent a couple of days at this hotel and located in one of the buildings outside which was probably fine for families with little children. We had a lovely meal, and enjoyed the food very much. We were happy to contribute to the local economy by taking a taxi into Cardiff, and one should factor this extra cost into your...

This hotel is about 8 miles outside Cardiff, between £15 to £20 in a taxi. The hotel has a pool and a lovely looking golf course on site and the building itself is lovely. The rooms were separate from the main building and were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was very disappointing, £10 and it was really poor. An...

A tired hotel that could very easily become a 5* boutique hotel with a little investment. The use of the main building is under utilised and the chalets need an overhall. It was a clean hotel and the price was great, but the whole ambience can across as cold and un-cared for. That said the staff were wonderful and made...

Had a 3 day first aid course here, didn't vacuum the floor the entire time we were there. rolling around being put into the recovery position on a dirty floor was awful. However we were provided tea and biscuits on the first day.

Nice location and views from room 27 and great receptionist when we checked in. We opted to have breakfast at an extra £7.50 pp.this was the strangest breakfast I have ever had. No one seemed to know what they were doing and we couldn't help ourselves to the hot food. I would strongly advise you not to have the baked...
