Stayed here for one night and the hotel is located right on the doorstep of the rugby stadium and the castle. It's only a few minutes walk to the shops and the station is about a 10 minute walk away. The room we had was ok and we did have a nice view of the stadium and the river. The...

Lovely room, the staff were lovely and there's a spoons just round the corner... What more could you want? A taxi into the centre was about £8 because of heavy traffic but didn't realise how close everything was! Will definitely be returning..

Great place in the centre of the city, easy walking to shops theatre and all city attractions, the hotel has on site parking if needed the breakfast is all self service and has plenty of choice from the fruit juice to full welsh breakfast.

Not a bad location, not far from most things, but the hotel was in desperate need of a refurb, the bar was quite small, and because the rugby was on we had to sit in the hotel reception area,as it was to rainy and windy to go out,Tne lady on reception that checked us in was not at all friendly, just passed us our room...

Good hotel, very located for getting into the middle of town. Typical HI hotel- staff good, breakfast excellent, clean, hospitable etc. Try to avoid rooms at the front of the hotel as traffic noise is loud and it seems to have limited soundproofing! Parking on top of the price of the hotel is a little steep as well.

Reception gave good welcome and help. The Room and Bathroom was small, however was clean so for one night was OK. We had Dinner in the Hotel which was good, our Waitress Deimante, was very helpful and suggested a good Shiraz Wine to go with our Meal. Breakfast choice was very good. Location and its own Car Park was advantage for...

Arrived on Monday 27 February 2017, we were disappointed as room was very small, had to move chair to open the wardrobe, the tea & coffee tray was also kept in the wardrobe along with iron and ironing board, not a lot of room to hang clothes. Mattress was so soft it was a role together, very dated. In dire...

By this I mean the rooms are dire compared to what the outside of the hotel and reception look like. If your expecting nice clean modern rooms then unfortunately this is not what you will get. They do however serve a purpose and the breakfast is good. I'd stay again purely because of the value for money you get.

I stayed here for 3 nights and can honestly say that I will never again and having raised a complaint with both the reception desk, the general manager and IHG Priority club will seriously consider changing my brand loyalty. My main complaint was regarding the restaurant manager RANTING about my partner and I across the restaurant to her colleague, I...
