The hotel feels fresh and modern with really friendly staff. The room was a decent size, super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Slept really well. Bathroom was spotless.
Location is very good for restaurants, shops and bars. There’s no restaurant in the hotel (hence my 4/5 rating) but they offer a breakfast-to-go box which was good enough for me.
I’m back in Cardiff for another course this week and I’ve rebooked this hotel. Extremely good value for money.
Despite their obligation to provide alternative accomodation and provide relevant transport, they were quite happy to leave us to sleep on the reception area floor (no furniture -not even a chair). Can only assume their reception area is designed to keep out homeless people, as the AC was on full blast, as was the shambolic music.
I had had a few drinks so couldn't drive 2 hours home. It quite literally felt like hell on earth so many thanks for your hospitality.
Yours faithfully,
Dr S. W. Sutton
The reception staff were lovely which meant the check in and check out was very smooth and easy. The room was very comfortable, I’m a fussy sleeper, but I slept soundly all night. I’d definitely recommend staying there.
