We stayed in this small hotel as it is convenient for the millennium centre where we went to see a show. Lovely bedroom with real old furniture crisp clean bedding a huge fluffy towels. Hair dryer and iron and a thoughtful touch a small folding ironing board. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Welsh breakfast which my husband had...

Had a lovely stay at Jolyons in the bay whilst watching The Bodyguard on the weekend. Jonathan is an amazing host. Very welcoming. Beaytiful room, lovely beeakfast. My only critique is that we were in room 4 and it's overlooking a bar next door but one. It's very noisy through the night. I would definately stay again if it was...

I booked this hotel as I was after a bit of luxury for an evening in Cardiff, I guess my first mistake was looking for the best price online as I ended up with jolyons bargain basement room, or as my wife called it a bedsit! The walls were scuffed with a couple of holes in them, the TV was...

A gem of a Hotel - large modern bedroom with bathroom from a Sunday supplement. Friendly staff and a legendary Welsh breakfast. Would go there again any time provided that there is room for me since it is small and very popular.

simply the best hotel in this price range west of the malvern hills, staff, cleanliness, location, and a big welsh welocome, what more do you want. All in all a very good base for Cardiff central and the Millenium stadium events, even a water taxi nearby to the stadium.

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 day city break from 18th May and found it to be the most impersonal hotel ever. The room was only cleaned once and that meant the bed was made and bins emptied, no clean towels daily or bath/ shower cleaned. The only place i've stayed where the toilet roll ran out!!...

In December I booked to one night stay at Jolyons in Cardiff Bay in March, as part of a Christmas present for my wife. I booked room number 2 as the web site boasted it had a whirlpool bath as well as shower in the en suite bathroom. The day before our stay, I received a voicemail message asking me...

I travel and stay in different places most weeks and when you come across an original breakfast menu with some great choices where you don't just go for your default option it says something about the place...I cannot recommend enough the cockles, lava and bacon - 3 of my favourite things...what not to love....
