Nice hostel. Amazing value and it's just a short walk to the main drag. Would stay again. Rooms all had safes and there's free breakfast. 24 hour reception. TV room was nice but not a very social vibe. I would stay again.

As the title of this review says... cheap and cheerful which was just what we were after. We were in Cardiff to do the Doctor Who Experience and just needed somewhere cheap to lay our heads. This was just the job and it had a bonus of an included breakfast. Free WiFi came in useful too.

2nd Visit to Nomad, the first being 2014. This time for WRU Judgement day, which unfortunately this year fell on the Easter Weekend. Has been improved since 2014, it is as the photos. You get a bed and a chair in the room, we were in six bedded mixed room consisting of three sets of bunks. Lockers are available (bring...

I stayed here for a while because I work in Cardiff. I've read people complaining about the breakfast. Filter coffee and cereal and toast included in the price is superb. Good location close to town. Staff are fine as long as you behave yourself. Only problem is you have to watch out for your stuff in the fridge but that's...

WELL.... this can only be described as the worst place I have EVER stayed. Location is terrible. Facilities are shocking, the bed was like something out of a prison. The room itself was like a sauna and smelt of salami and all. The bathroom was disgusting, I wouldn't bath my dog in there. A member of staff was extremely rude...

I only stayed at this hostel for one night. But it had everything I needed. Basic hostel but reasonable priced and the staff were friendly. A few chill out areas (couches etc) where you can hang out and you can bring your own alcohol.

I stayed here for a few nights and have to say its a bit like the Arabella hotel off only fools and horses and nobody stays at the Arabella The downstairs bathroom needs a new bath because its a bit greyish white and has been thrashed so it is a bit unusable and dare you use it? The breakfast consisted...

I've stayed there for two nights with two friends in February. Our stay was ok, but it could have been better. Positive things: - The hostel is quite central (about 10 - 15 min. walk to the city centre, Castle, etc.) - The beds are quite comfortable. - The bedclothes seemed to be clean but a bit worndown. - The...

Stayed in this hostel for a night out, perfect location, rooms were fine, shared bathroom was clean and the staff were friendly. 24 hour reception was perfect due to previous experiences. Relaxed atmosphere throughout the stay, would definitely stay again and would highly recommend! Thank you :)

Booked this hostel for a group of 8, 6 weeks in advance. Paid a 10% deposit non refundable. Fine. Actually NOT fine. 4 days before our trip our numbers dropped and I noticed that the hostel was fully booked- therefore I called to let them know so that our spare beds could be advertised. To my horror there was no...
