Organising a surprise evening of fine dining for my best friends 30th. This fabulous hotel came up on my radar. We were booked into Epicure. Not sure if you have to use the events team, but wouldn't recommend it. My last 3 emails went unanswered. I was incredibly nervous going. Lack of communication had left me worrying it was all...

Car Park under hotel 15 pounds a day and outside carpark with courtesy bus 5 pounds a day. No baggage assistance. Bedside table lost some of it's vaneer to bare cheap compressed chip board. Curtains shredded and with holes. Door on fridge cupboard falling off. Bed uncomfortable and pillows rock hard. Restaurants mainly around gold course, but always a courtesy...

This review is based on a Signature Corner room on 6, as part of a package. We visited this hotel for a single night, and had an excellent experience. Check in was quick and easy, and we recieved full directions to our room, where we were eating, and where we had spa treatments booked. The room was excellent, with suberb...

Spent one night here at the end of Easter as part of a dinner, bed and breakfast package. The good points: 1. Bedroom - fairly spacious with a balcony (view of motorway not great). Bathroom was large. Apparently recently refurbished and all ok. Very comfortable beds 2. Staff were friendly 3. Food - good selection at breakfast and dinner -...

We had a lovely room booked and very excited for the bank holiday Sunday to Monday break. Upon arrival, the check in was 'ok'. I would have expected a resort map or run down of our booking. All we had was 'your room will be ready at 4 so see you then'. We had a 'dinosaur' activity booked for that...

Great conference venue, with the largest facilities for all sizes of conferences. We had 650 people in total, that were easily managed. Rooms are good. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. With such a large attendance, the hotel should allocate more staff at the bar in the evenings. Delegates tend to wait a long time at the bar to get...

We love this place. Decadent luxury. The one place that ticks all the boxes for us as a couple. A place even though local makes you feel like you have flown to another country. We both feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated when we return from our couple of days break to the celtic manor. We usually wait for the deals...

Played the Roman course on day one and the Montgomerie on day two. The Montgomerie is by far the better of the two courses. Like many we booked because of the Ryder cup so whilst we knew we would not be playing the course used in 2010 we did expect a course that was of a high standard, the Roman...

It is always so special when I get to visit this hotel and use their spa and eat in their wonderful restaurants. It is expensive but it is so worth it. I ate in their Steak on Six restaurant and LOVED it...the food was glorious and the staff look after you extremely well....
