Worst Premier Inn iwe have ever stayed in. Our room stunk, the carpet was soaking wet and the rooms very shabby. The building is surrounded by scaffold with weather proofing which is your only view and the worst part is the parking facility. One of our party had their car stolen overnight from the independent car park next to the Premier Inn, There is no on site parking available at this Premier Inn even though the Premier Inn website states that there is parking available. When we advised the staff that the car had been stolen overnight during our stay they could not have been less interested and were no help what so ever. Unfortunately we have family in Swansea so will have to travel back there again but will never use Premier Inn again!
It was fabulous to spend last night here, returning back to our favourite hotel, Room was spotless and have to say they have covid procedures down to a T. sanitisers everywhere on the premises. We had a lovely waterfront view in room 301. The breakfast was awesome well worth every penny. I have to add that the staff are brilliant and doa fantastic job.
Not a great experience, booked back in January (prior to any warning of building works). A week before staying we read the article online about building works, so rang the hotel who referred us to Guest Relations. They offered a refund days before our stay but we couldn't find a hotel in the central Swansea area with availability at that late stage. Eventually Guest Relations promised us a 5th floor room where the scaffolding wouldn't cover the window quite so much apparently. We arrived however to find our room was on the 3rd floor with no natural light and the air con was not working. The next morning we complained and got moved to the 5th floor which was a slight improvement in that you could see daylight if you looked up to the sky. Hotel staff referred us to Guest Relations to discuss this further. When we eventually got through, Guest Relations wouldn't discuss anything as it was an ongoing stay, and would only discuss it once our stay was completed. We were left trapped into staying at a hotel that wasn't great with no customer service options. It affected our stay so much that we left in the morning and stayed out until late evening most nights to avoid too much time in the room. This spoilt our first family holiday with a new born, which we'd been looking forward to after a long lockdown period. We are regular users of Premier Inns; however, have been really disappointed by the customer service.…
This was a stop off overnights for our holiday..we arrived to see the hotel wrapped like a present(no notification of this) so our harbour view was plastic sheeting. We went to the beefeater restaurant downstairs...no masks were worn apart from 1 member of staff(restrictions hadn't yet been lifted) ordered the food. Well it was disgusting, the chips were covered in chip fat chunks and tasted like the fat hadn't been changed in over a yr my pasta dish was burnt on the top and cold in the middle! You get the just...we ended up going to the nearest tesco to get fresh bread so the kids could actually eat something after our busy travelling day. After staying at other Premier inns we thought it was a no question asked booking...never here again.
Not informed that the whole hotel is covered in scaffold and monflex sheeting. We actually thought the hotel was closed when we arrived. Covid rules for the hotel not explained until we pressed reception staff about their requirements. Covid aside, the room together with bathroom were exceptionally dirty. My next hotel needs a complete rethink.
